We stayed at the Pucic Palace at the end of June, beginning of July 2013. What a spectacular hotel in the middle of one of the most majestic towns in the world.

The Pucic Palace is well located within the old city and allows you to walk out the front doors and be in the middle of great shops, fantastic restaurants and lots of sites to see.

The staff at the Pucic Palace go out of their way to make sure that you are enjoying your stay. They helped us with storing luggage, making dinner reservations and providing information on locations to see. Every staff member that we met was kind and willing to help.

The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The bathrooms are large and allow lots of room for a couple to get ready for a night out in the old town. The overall interior of the hotel is exceptional.

The breakfast each morning that is including in the rooms is great. Lots of selection and everything is fresh served by attentive staff.

If you are planning a trip to Dubrovnik, I would highly recommend staying at the Pucic Palace. If you aren't planning a trip to Dubrovnik, you should! It is a lovely city filled with history and the people are gracious and kind.

If you are going, make sure to walk the walls around the city, it is spectacular.

Room Tip: All the rooms are fantastic, we stayed in two different rooms!

The positives of this hotel are the location, the exceedingly friendly and competent staff and the excellent breakfasts. There probably is no better place in Dubrovnik to stay for the view and the location. The action is at your doorstep and you can walk everywhere. There are no real, real negatives -- just things that simply did not make it a 5 star. For example, the tub-shower combination was pretty but very impractical and I nearly killed myself on the tile and floor of a bathroom with copious splashing out of the shower, but no handrails or other safety features. It was also a tad dated and could use a face lift. As in other European hotels, there were no washcloths. I don't expect them normally and carry my own, but at these prices a washcloth would be nice. The room was fine but a bit small. I have no real complaints, and I would recommend, but it is not a 5 star by any means.

Location could not be better. Facilities very good. Excellent service provided by the staff of this small hotel. We are very fussy about our hotel selection when travelling and put alot of work into researching boutique hotels prior to our trip, this Hotel certainly made the grade, we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would highly recommend this Pucic Palace

Beautiful hotel in a great location (near one of the main squares). Lovely breakfasts and very helpful staff on places to eat and see. Its boutique style was exactly what we wanted in the magnificent old town.

Room Tip: Get a room with a view of the square and people watch from your window as the daily market activity goes on below.
