We were staying in the Rixos hotel so hoped to play some poker here, but there is no poker apart from a tournament on Friday nights at 8pm. We played some roulette and blackjack for awhile but soon got bored so cashed in and left after about 30 mins.
The entrance in the hotel basement is a perfect example if uninviting. Down some marble stairs into a large dark lobby with a door in the corner. Its a huge space with nothing in it and it looks like there used o be a night club at one stage but it seems to be closed.
The casino itself is small , with a few poker tables (closed) , 2 roulette wheels and 2 black jack tables. there is a bar and lots of slot machines. At most there were about 15 customers in it when we visited around 11pm on a tuesday.
Our highlight was my wife Claire picking the roulette number correct 3 times in a row , after my bad example of showing her how to play and winning nothing numerous times in a row.
The website is massively out of date and has little up to date information. Eg a poker schedule or some details of any upcoming events. I am sure they could attract some more people with a website update and an up to date schedule of events and details of their poker games. How do they expect to attract players if they do not advertise the games?
As the only casino in dubrovnik , It's pretty poor by any standards
