I stayed here with my mum in may, it is just a 10 minute bus ride from the medieval city walls.
It is close by to shops and restaurants.
Has a roof top pool which has great views.
I was only here for 2 nights and when I left I must have rushed when packing as I forgot and left behind a handbag.
However, when I got home to England I realised it was missing so started communicating with the owners via e-mail and they arranged to have it sent back to the uk for me.
I cant tell you how much I appreciated this, trust and honesty goes a long way in my books.
Would recommend for this reason alone.

We, two adults and three children) stayed 10 days in Villa Antea in june 2012. Location was perfect, only 10 minutes walk to wonderful beach Cobacabana and also to hotel Valamar pools, that Villa Anteas customers are allowed to use. Grosery, bakery and restaurants are quite near. Bus to Old town (number 6) drive along Iva Dulcica. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Reseptionist called to rental company and organized a car for us and gave us a lot of information on different things. Our apartment was tidy and spacious with two bedrooms, livingroom, kitchen corner, balcony and bathroom. There was also pool and deck chairs at top floor (roof). We highly recommend this hotel to everybody and would like to thank Villa Antea staff for a lovely holiday.

My partner and I stayed at the Villa Antea from 28 May to 2 June 2012 and had a wonderful time. The double apartment was just what we needed and excellent value for money. The bed was really comfy and it's a quiet area at night so we slept really well, helped by air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The view from the balcony was lovely so we ate breakfast there every morning. Plenty of utensils available in the apartment.
The bus stop into the old town is just a few minutes walk from the apartment and there's a good bus service into town. We were glad to be based a little outside of the old town and there were good amenities near the apartment, including beaches, restaurants, bars, shops and tourist information.
Staff at the apartment were really helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. The airport taxi transfer was helpful and hassle-free.
Guests at this apartment can use the Valomar Hotel pool a short walk away, as well as the apartment's own rooftop infinity pool. Although fairly small it was a lovely place to relax and the views are fantastic.
Would definitely recommend this apartment as it provided an excellent base to explore Dubrovnik and enjoy the area.

My partner and I stayed for three nights from 17 to 20 May and we loved everything about this villa. The room was perfect and the view was fab, and it was only a ten minute walk to the beautiful Copacapana beach. The weather was great so we visited the beach couple of times for a swim.
The bus for the old town ran frequently and went from literally a few yards from the hotel.
We would also highly recommend doing an island tour, its a full day out lunch included and well worth the money. A must do!
The staff were lovely and could not help us enough with information on activities, buses, restaurants, boat trips etc. The hotel also offers a transfer to and from airport at a very affordable price if you require it and they contact you to check if you need it, a nice touch I think myself, very thoughtful, what more could you ask for.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone heading to Dubrovnik for a nice relaxing break
The staff in this villa definitely know the meaning of the words welcoming and hospitality, thank you for a lovely holiday

We stayed here for a week to attend a wedding and this was a great choice for us, never having been to Dubrovnik before the big choice was whether to stay close to the old town or head like we did out to the Lapad peninsula, we guessed that the old town apartments might be a good bit smaller than those on the outskirts and as we were staying for a week we opted for the larger sized apartments.

These apartments are in a mainly residential location and are about 6 kilometres from the old town itself, there is however a very frequent number 6 bus (first from Lapad circa 5.30am and last from the old town at 12 midnight) which for 12 Kunas will get you to the Pile gate in about 15 minutes, down the hill from the apartments, where the pedestriansed area is with all the restaurants, there are plenty of taxis which to get to the old town will cost about 70 Kunas.

We had a 2 bed deluxe apartment which had two good sized bedrooms with plenty of storage space, there was a huge balcony attached with 4 sun loungers and a table with 4 chairs, from the balcony you can see the cruise ships docked and later leaving from Dubrovnik harbour.

The sitting room was spacious with cable tv (mostly continental but a few English news channels), and again a table with 4 chairs, the standard of furnishings were very good and the full size kitchen had an American style fridge/freezer, full oven and plenty of crockery and utensils.

The bathroom was cleverly sectioned off into shower, washbasin and toilet areas so no one person was using the bathroom exclusively, all areas of the apartment were in good condition and spotlessly clean., we had two minor issues with a broken shower head and a non flushing toilet, both of which were seen to immediately and repaired in no time.

There is a newly installed swimming pool on the roof of the apartments with plenty of sun loungers, the pool is small but ideal for just cooling off in and the area is a virtual sun trap, also the pool area offers some great views of the local hills and harbour.

We e-mailed the owner - Antun - and took the offer of a paid for airport pick up and return by car and that worked perfectly, the reception area is open from 2.00pm to 9.00pm each day and there is no formal lobby area as such, there are lots of steps in and around these apartments so anybody with restricted mobility needs to be aware of that, however the whole of Dubrovnik seems to involve areas of difficulty for the mobility restricted.

We would thoroughly recommend these apartments and have no hesitation in using them again, the sense of being away from the hustle and bustle of the old town suited us and we went in and out every day with no bother.

Prices in Dubrovnik were surprisingly reasonable from what we had read and been led to believe and it is possible to eat and drink out without being fleeced, the price of a pint of local beer ranged from 3-5 Euros dependant on the class of where you went to eat and drink of course, there are lots of 4 and 5 star hotels with prices to match and there are also plenty of less expensive eating/drinking spots also.

We have stayed in many places across Europe and this would be close to the bottom of our list. We had booked a one bedroom apartment which turned out to be absolutely tiny and the view from the balcony was very ordinary. The kitchen and living area were the smallest we have ever seen in a one bedroom apartment. Must thank them though as we then found a fabulous apartment right on the waterfront within real walking distance to the Old Town.
