“Dubrovnik Old Town”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

It was like stepping back in time. All the quaint narrow little streets. cafe's, shops and bars. People bustling in and out from first light. We left one night at around 2300hrs and people were still coming into the city. You must take a camera.

“A beautiful city with no traffic!”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

Lots to see and easy to walk around. More restaurants to choose from in a confined area than we have seen anywhere. Very clean and feels very safe.

“Parking is a nightmare”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

Do not travel to Dubriovnik by car, if you're going to be a week or more. Parking is expensive (280-500 kuna per 24 hours in a parking house) Other than that, there are almost no available parking spaces and people are forever searching for free space. The old town is of course beautiful, but those wo say prices are low, must reconsider their opinion. An example: a fish plate for 420 kunas, is that cheap? It was in a nice, but not particullary fancy retaurant

“Simply amazing”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

We've been a tour of the stari grads in a few countries, but this is one of the greatest we've seen. Beautiful views of the ocean, nice postcard pic moments everywhere and an interesting history. Loads of people though, so either go early or late to avoid the worst crowds.

Very expencive restaurants, we had some expencive drinks at Buža (on the cliffs), but cheaper ones at a irish place near the square (Karaka).

“I'm a little disappointed”
Reviewed 5 July 2014

Yes it is beautiful and the first 30 minutes it is breathtaking, but after that, it was only restaurants and expensive boutiques. It's a ''to do'' one time and I don't understand the purpose to go back. I definitely prefer visiting the walls of the Old Town
