Great location right outside the Pile gate. Excellent staff. Fantastic breakfast and a decent lounge. Wonderful stay.

The HIlton is directly across from the entrance to the old town - it makes for an excellent location if you are in town for just a few days. However, if you are in town for a while and experience the Adriatic - - this is not the place for you. The location is a little congested for relaxation

Room Tip: Upgrade to a view of the old city if available

This is an historic hotel. The location is a very short distance from Pile Gate in the Old Town. We had a beautiful room with a balcony that faced the fortress. The executive club lounge had a nice selection of appetizers and desserts, as well as beverages. Breakfast was very good, with a great selection to choose from.

Room Tip: I would recommend staying on a higher floor if you are facing the sea. The street that runs in front of it is a main street and there can be traffic noise.

The Hilton Imperial was a beautiful hotel in a GREAT location - 2 minutes from Old Town. The staff was very professional and represented the 5 star rating that the hotel received. The price is a bit high in several areas (room rate, lobby bar, internet access), but overall, it's location and professional customer service made it a good stay.

Rooms - Rooms were very large and clean, but decor didn't impress us too much. The TV was quite small for such a large room. No mini bar, but coffee and tea was provided.

Internet Access - I was hoping would be available was free wifi that I had in other hotels, but they did not have this. You were able to purchase internet access for about $10 for 1 hour and $20 for 24 hours. The rooms also did not have wifi, only in the lobby, but you could connect your laptop using an ethernet cable provided.

Hotel Lobby/Bar - The lobby was nice and relaxing, but the drinks/food in the hotel lobby was definitely pricy, compared to the rest of Dubrovnik, which is already pricy. A glass of wine or a glass of Johnnie Walker Black was about $16, where it ranged from $5-$10 everywhere else. This is probably the biggest negative of the hotel. If the prices were more reasonable, we would have spent more time in the lobby since it is a wifi area (though you have to pay for the service).

Guests - Hotel guests consisted of older businessmen and women. This is because the hotel is a business hub, with board/conference rooms.

Spa/Fitness Center - The hotel had quality spa, with prices of about $80 for a swedish/hot stone massage. The massage was par standards but definitely could have been better. There was also an indoor pool, sauna, and steam room, which was nice and clean. The fitness center was also nice and a decent size.

Location - The hotel definitely stood out in the Dubrovnik hills and was VERY conveniently located 2 minutes from Old Town, which had tons of restaurants/bars/sight seeing. The bus stop was also right next to the hotel.

Breakfast - This was included. They had a GREAT breakfast buffet from eggs, sausages, cured meets, variety of pastries, bread, salad bar, fruits. We really enjoyed the breakfast.

Stayed a night at the Hilton before flying back from Dubrovnik airport. Its in a great spot just outside the city walls but easy to find in the car and valet parking. Lovely room with a balcony and a bit of a view of the town. Small Exec lounge that didn't appear to have any beer (plenty of good wines and spirts) but as I wanted to expore the bars in town not too much of an issue. Decent gym & pool and a good buffet breakfast. Recommend the Hilton if visiting Dubrovnik. The lady in the Exec lounge was very friendly but the front of house staff much less so.
