We selected this hotel on the basis of its location (right on the beach) and facilities (pools, restaurants etc). Everything was excellent about our stay, starting with the complimentary drinks served to us in reception on arrival. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely go for a room with sea view if you can. Breakfast on the terrace was a great start to the day - plenty of variety in the buffet and options to choose something from the menu. We didn't eat that often in the restaurants - slightly pricey although the food was reasonable. Best bet is the snacks menu at the On the Rocks bar for lunch although you may need to wait a while if it's busy.
For visiting the old town (which we did most days) you can catch a bus just outside the hotel (every 10 mins or so) or take a taxi (about £10).
Overall, very pleased with this hotel and would definitely recommend for families.
