“Hotel Zagreb”

A small, friendly ,charming hotel in a great location. This hotel is located on a pedestrianized street with lots of places to eat and drink nearby. The number 6 bus which takes you right down to the old town - is a one minute walk away and so travel to and from the hotel to the port or old town is easy. The room and bathroom were both clean and comfortable and the hotel had good free WiFi. Outside the garden is beautiful and there are plenty of garden seats and loungers for guests to use.Breakfast was an impressive buffet of both hot and cold foodstuffs and the staff, who all spoke excellent English were all very helpful and attentive. For a mid priced hotel, this hotel is 2nd to none and i would definitely recommend this to friends and family!

The four grandmas really enjoyed this charming hotel the staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble even trays of tea when the restaurant was closed its in a great location with lots of good places to eat a stunning walk around the peninsula from the bottom of the street called Buba Kut in Croatian meaning grandmas hip perfect at sunset The hotel is in easy reach by bus to the old town a good tip is to go later in the day when the cruise ship crowds have gone !!!!

Room Tip: chose a room towards the which are quieter

A small, comfortable, well run, mid-priced hotel. It is set in a lovely garden, is well located in Lapad and is staffed by lovely people - all of whom speak near perfect English.

Our room was very clean and comfortable, with lots of wardrobe room and a spacious bathroom. Breakfasts were excellent. Free WiFi was available in the room.

The hotel is close to lots of bars, restaurants, a shopping centre and the No 6 bus stop - for buses to the Old City. Buses run frequently and late - so an evening out in the Old City is easy. They also take you close to the really good restaurants located around Dubrovnik harbour.

I couldn't fault this hotel.

A perfect location, along an upmarket pedestrianised street of cafes and restaurants. 6 mins to beach, also one minute from no 6 bus into old town. Smart old building. Comfortable room. If you need QUIET, ask for garden side away from music bar. Staff excellent. Good wifi signal. Will definitely go back.

Found the breakfast a bit disappointing, but our next hotel was exactly the same. Cold spread was ok. Hot food was a bonus, but no matter how early we came to breakfast, the scrambled egg and bacon was congealed and had been around for ages, under a hot container. I suggest either the hotel don't bother or cook it fresh to order. Don't let this put you off - the place is great!

To look at you'd think this would be a very expensive hotel but you'd be wrong. It sits on a quiet pedestrianised street in beautifully maintained grounds only a 15min bus ride from Dubrovnik old town.

Our room was in immaculate condition. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was excellent with something for everyone and the best coffee we had in 10 days in Croatia. Free parking is available. The very frequent bus service to Dubrovnik old town is only 2mins walk away. There are numerous restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity of the hotel and the waterfront area 5mins walk away is worth exploring.

The Hotel Zagreb is in a magnificent pink building like an 18th century palace. It has a great terrace for eating, drinking or just sitting in a garden setting. It is on a road which is for foot traffic only and is lined with trees. We loved this hotel, The staff were exceptionally friendly. The room was of adequate sized with a great bed and lovely clean bathroom (however, the carpet and paint work in the room could be improved). We ate fish for dinner at the hotel and were very pleased with the quality of the meal. The breakfast was also very nice. The hotel is away from the old city but it is easy to get there by bus and it is also nice to get away from all the cruise ship passengers in the main tourist areas.

Rooms are right size, some are smaller. Breakfast is quite good. Staff is wonderful. Clean to the spot. The only issue is a bar that decided to paly club music at night - so the rooms facing the front entrance may be nosy, mainly on weekends during summer season. The walking boulevard of Lapud beach is full of restaurants and shops, and the hotel is a short bus drive away from old town.

Room Tip: Prefer the back rooms if the club is still operating when you stay here.
