Spent 5 days at this delightful hotel in the Lapad area of Dubrovnik. Just a short and relatively cheap (12 kuna if you buy from the tisak stores)bus ride from the old town. I agree with a previous review that this hotel is 3 stars but brought up to 5 stars by the very friendly and accommodating staff. It is very clean and comfortable and with eggs cooked to order the breakfast was a good start to the day. We had enquired about a ferry ride and Marija made sure she was able to give us accurate information by checking by phone and internet several days running. The restaurant staff also could not do enough to ensure we were happy.
Top marks!

The hotel receptionist was very friendly and helpful. When I arrived at the hotel, she gave me a warm welcome. The room was not big but enough for a solo traveller. The Free wi-fi was connected in the whole hotel.Sometimes it was not working properly in the room. When I had dinner at the restaurant Agora just next to the hotel.I got 10 percentage off .The hotel is close to the Lapad posta.I took the bus No.6 to tnhe Lapad posta and walked to the hotel in 8mins.Many restaurants and cafes around the hotel. It is so convenient.Nothing to complain.

What a great little hotel located in the quiet area of LaPad, a pleasure to come back to after exploring the bustle of Dubrovnic town. The staff are wonderful, friendly and can't be more helpful. Our quaint, comfortable room was on the 4th floor, one flight up the stairs after taking the lift to the 3rd floor. Breakfast was typical European was the most wonderful omelettes cooked to perfection. The staff kindly gave advice of places to visit and things to do - the highlights were the short walk to have a drink at the cave bar and the day trip to Lockrum Island besides the Dubrovnic old town features. Right outside the hotel is the fabulous quiet promenade of Many restaurants to choose from. The buses to the old town are easy to access, just a short walk and are frequent. Be aware that a return bus ticket only lasts for one hour - buy a one way.

This hotel is great for Dubrovnik that is true but what makes a difference is the level of service we received. From the moment we walked in the door the woman at the front desk welcomed us with a smile and gave us a detailed run down of where everything was. As we were staying a week (it appears many tour groups stay at the Perla so are only in for a few days) we were put on the top floor with a balcony. The lift only goes to the third floor that is true so we had to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the room. If you have problems with stairs keep that in mind. The food is typical fair for the hotels in the area but I have to say the whole grilled sea bass was great and the breakfast was fine for getting you going for the day. The beds were very comfortable and the room and bathroom were spotless. The only thing missing for us was a tea/coffee maker in the room. Hotel Perla is a solid three star but the staff made it 5 star for us. We will definitely be back.

Room tip: It can get lively at night so 3rd or 4th floor facing the sea is great.

This hotel is brilliantly positioned for exploring the whole of Dubrovnik. The old town is 10 mins on bus number 6. The beach is a couple of mins walk away. Boat trips are 10 min walk way. The hotel staff are great and very friendly. WiFi is good and balcony is a nice way to enjoy the sun.

Room tip: We had room 201A which was front facing with a balcony and was a nice room
