The flat is ideally located, close to the old city and at walking distance to a stunning swimming area. It takes only 15 minutes by bus to get to bigger supermarkets and others areas of Dubrovnik.
The appartment is spacious, very light and well organised. Nothing was missing to make us feel at home, from the beach towels left for us to the ladle to make pancakes! During a hot and busy summer, we greatly appreciated the coolness and calm of our flat.
Ivo have proved a really thoughtful guess, welcoming us with a lovely bunch of flowers and thinking ahead our needs. He gave us precious tips about visits, activities and places to eat and was always prompt to answer our questions.
Thanks again to have made our stay in Dubrovnik so unforgettable.
Recently spent a lovely 5 nights at the Jacqueline Apartment and there is everything you need there for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
The Apartment is only 5 mins walk from the Old Town and has views over a pretty park next door.
It was very hot during our stay and fortunately there is good air-con.
The Owner Ivo is very welcoming and was very helpful answering lots of questions about Dubrovnik and recommending places to eat.
I would certainly recommend this Apartment as a great base, you do not need a car as parking is extremely limited in the area.
Thanks Ivo for helping us to enjoy your beautiful City.
We had such a good time in Dubrovnik, partly as a result of having such a great place to stay. Ivo's apartment is in a superb location, central but quiet, and was cool (essential with temperatures of 30+), very well-equipped and spacious. Highly recommended, we hope to return for longer next time.
We would highly recommend staying at Ivo's apartment in Dubrovnik. Perfect for a family of five, convenient walking distance of the old town and impeccably clean apartment which was well equipped.
Ivo made us very welcome and was very informative, accomodating and helpful.
Stayed at Ivo's wonderful spacious apartment for a few days in April. Perfectly located a short up hill walk from the Pile Gate, just up from the Hilton on the left. We were met by Ivo who made all six of us feel very welcome; drinks on arrival, chatted about Dubrovnik and answered all our questions. The apartment was well stocked with variety of tea, coffee and milk etc. so we didn't have to rush out in the morning. Dubrovnik is a beautiful place - we did the Wall on the first day which helped get our bearings and then got the cable car for super views. We chose to walk down from the cable car on a zig zag rocky path which was not very well signposted and pretty steep. It took about an hour to get back to Pile Gate. Over the next couple of days ate in some lovely cafes and restaurants; some rather pricy. Great selection of seafood but you can get pizza and the lovely tasting local chicken dish if seafood is not your thing. Visited Lokrum island - well worth a visit: great views at the fort, lots of friendly peacocks and rabbits and you can sit on a replica Iron Throne from Game of Thrones. There's also videos explaining how they filmed GOT in Dubrovnik, great for us fans. On our last day we got a boat to Cavtat, a small seaside town, for a short walk and lovely meal on the seafront. We planned to catch an airport bus at the cable car stop but because there was six of us we caught a minibus from a lovely guy who's travel business is opposite the cable car stop. It worked out the same price and we didn't have to wait for the local bus. Finished of our holiday perfectly such a lovely guy chatted about the history of Croatia and despite roadworks made our flight in perfect time! Would recommend Dubrovnik especially staying in Ivo's wonderful apartment. Thanks Ivo!
