We rented this apartment based on other reviews and were not disappointed.
Vilim could not have been a nicer host. He drove us around to help orientate us on the area which was very much appreciated. We were given welcome gifts on entering the apartment. The apartment was great with fantastic views, nice balcony, good kitchen, air conditioning, bathroom, wifi etc. no point going on and repeating what others have said. We enjoyed our stay and would have liked to stay longer.
We stayed at Sea View Apartment for 18 days at the end of April. This is the cleanest apartment we have ever stayed in. It is equiped with everything needed for your stay even down to shampoo and bubble bath. The decor is very pleasing to the eye and the bathroom had an amazing shower. We spent many hours sat on the balcony taking in the view and watching the many boats sailing past. The garden at the back is very pretty and we sat there quite a few afternoons in the sun. Vilim is a wonderful host and goes out of his way to make your stay as perfect as possible. The lamb under the bell, the home made wine (thank you grandfather), pancakes, lovely Croatian dessert, sugar coated almonds all added to make our stay special. There is a supermarket within minutes and the Promenade only 15 min walk away. The perfect quiet location.
Thank you again Vilim and we hope we are able to visit you again sometime. All the very best for the future and good wishes to your lovely family.

This is a beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean and exceptionally well-equipped. It is in a great location and has a wonderful view across the harbour. Best of all is the owner, Vilim, who made us feel SO welcome.
Thank you Vilim for a wonderful holiday!
The apartment was spotless and the view from the balcony was amazing.
Vilim was super helpful. Perfect location, easy to walk to beaches and a short bus ride on the number 6 to the old town.
Would not hesitate to recommend this apartment.
This is a beautiful apartment, very, very clean and extremely well equipped. The owner [Vilim] is exceptional - even the very best rental companies could learn a lot from Vilim. He is a perfect host, available if you need him, unobtrusive if you don't. He explained everything in the apartment, offering to buy any spices I might need that he hadn't already provided. He drove us around to show us the local food shop, the bus stop for the old town, and the local restaurants.
The outside space is excellent, a shady [from 11h00] balcony with comfy chairs and cushions overlooking the port, sun loungers on the rear terrace and a table and chairs in a sunny position.
Inside the kitchen is well equipped, the sitting area very comfortable and the bedrooms had more storage than I have at home! The bathroom was squeaky clean with an enormous powerful shower.
On our last evening Vilim cooked us a wonderful meal accompanied by a bottle of his grandfather's delicious wine.
I really can't recommend this apartment - and Vilim - highly enough. If I could give him ten stars out of five I would gladly do so.
I had read all the reviews about this apartment and they are all true.
Vilim responded quickly to any queries I had prior to and after booking and organised a taxi to meet us at the airport. He was at the property to greet us and show us all around the apartment and explain how everything worked. He then took us out in his car and pointed out where to find the beaches, the bus stop for the bus into the old town, the strip with lots of restaurants and other local amenities. He had also left us some home made liquers and sugar coated almonds which were very moreish. One night he cooked a traditional Croatian meal for us which was delicious.
The apartment was lovely. I have never stayed in a place abroad which was so spotlessly clean - everything gleamed! The shower was huge and very powerful which was great but we found that the quantity of hot water did not allow for 2 of us having the shower on full without it running cold on the second person.
The apartment was very well equipped with everything you need if you wanted to do some cooking yourself. The seating was very comfortable as was the bed although it did tend to creak quite loudly as you got in and out of it! We loved the windows with the shutters which you could open or close however you wished. The airconditioning was OK but we were a bit disappointed to find that it wasn't in the bedrooms and we thought we might have struggled with the heat if we had come in the height of summer as we do not tend to have windows open at night when abroad in case of mosquitos.
And then there was the balcony! Wow what a fantastic view! We could have sat for days watching the ships and cruise liners going up and down. We even spotted Roman Abramavich's yacht moored just under the bridge!
There was a gorgeous walk if you turned left after going down the steps from the apartment to the street and within 10 minutes you came to a lovely little beach. This was very peaceful and you could hire sunbeds and parasols but the lunch choice was very limited. We nearly always walked an extra 10 minutes to Cococabana beach which was bigger and had a nice lunch menu. The sunbeds on one half of the beach were very close to each other so we opted for the furthest beds which were very comfortable but very expensive! For 2 beds and a parasol it was 260 kunas (about £35) which we thought was a bit steep. It was also quite noisy with the music which they seemed to like to have up loud (very annoying) and there was a guy across the other side of the beach who jetwashed some inflatable floating things practically all day!
There do not appear to be any sandy beaches in the area but we were quite happy about that as we always have beach shoes (a must) and don't like the way sand always sticks to you when you have sun cream on.
A trip to the old town is a must but be warned that the number 6 bus gets rammed and I mean rammed with people.
We would have liked to have done a boat trip but it was very windy and the sea was very choppy so we gave that a miss. Unfortunately, the weather on a couple of days was not great. On the one day the wind and rain must have rivalled Hurricane Irma and was followed that evening by a terrific thunderstorm. We understood from speaking to Vilim though that this was unusual for September. It is usually lovely and sunny and slightly cooler than July and August which can reach over 40 degrees.
All in all, we had a lovely stay in a beautiful apartment with an amazing view and a host who really went the extra mile to be helpful and was always at the end of the phone if you had a problem or needed any information about anything.
Thank you Vilim - you are a star!
We loved our stay in Vilim & his family's gorgeous apartment. It was bright, spacious and super clean. The views from the balcony were lovely and we just loved sitting out there taking it all in. The home made liqueurs were great, as was the yummy chocolate pancakes Vilim made and brought up to us one evening. Vilim really goes above and beyond to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible, he is the perfect host!
