This morning we embarked on a three Island trip to Kolocep, Sipan and Lopud. Our boat was a repro sailing ship of the type that would have taken the Pilgrim fathers to America. We were picked up outside the Hotel Argentina at 08h30 and set sail at 09h00. We were served grappa as we left shore, which the four of us passed to the next table to us occupied by some thirsty Swedes. At the first Island we were given 45 minutes at the second an hour and a half and at Lopud nearly three and a half hours. We would have preferred the times to have been more shared out. 45 minutes was too short and three and a half far too long.
We lunched on board with fish and pickled cabbage and plenty of white wine.
The Islands were very picturesque and my wife and I walked well over 10 kms on the three walks we had.
All in all a very worth while day out and would recommend the trip to any visitor to Dubrovnik.
