We stayed here for one night. We did come with our car from the Netherlands. There is a parking beneath the hotel. The day after we went to the Island of Lopud for 6 days. It was possible for a small price to keep the auto parked by the Berkeley. The room was ok but the service made it really good. From the hotel is was easy to go with the bus to the centre of Dubrovnik. You can get tickets at the hotel.

Great Staff , very helpful , nice hotel rooms , really spacious.
Breakfast ok . Although would not go back to Gruz , there is absolutely nothing to do. Poor restaurants and no shopping . We came home 3 days early as we were bored . Dubrovnik is stunning... maybe we chose the wrong area ????

Room Tip: Room 33 has a lovely view but you have to pay extra for it

We stayed here for a night, last week, after arriving in Dubrovnik. We then took a side trip, by car, to Bosnia, before returning to Dubrovnik for a conference. I do not believe that individual travelers can find a better value than the Berkeley, in this beautiful city.( Which has long been discovered, and, consequently, mobbed with tourists ).

The rooms have individually controlled, ultra -quiet, split level A/C units. The mattress is excellent, and there are wooden shutters to keep out the light, and double glazed windows to keep out the noise. Everything you need for a very good night's sleep. There is a small fridge, and flat screen TV in the room.

There is a pool, but I did not have time to use it. They will cook you a breakfast to order - included in the price. The hotel is not downtown, but there is frequent nearby bus service. If you are flying in ( Dubrovnik is a bit isolated - flying is the best means of access ), you can take the airport bus to the last stop - the Central Bus Station, and walk about 700 meters/yards, to the hotel. There is a big supermarket near the bus station. The neighborhood is very convenient. The hotel also has a paid airport shuttle for people like me, who travel with too much luggage.

The staff is very nice, and will answer any questions you may have about Dubrovnik. They are multi-lingual. We hope to return shortly for a longer stay.

Room Tip: We had a view of the port, but I think that is an upgrade.

The room was great, nicely decorated and had a big bed and powerful shower. Location is great as it's out of the old town so not rammed full of tourists and guided groups but not far to walk (25 minutes) or ten mins on bus. The pool was closed due to bad weather so if your after a lazy holiday make sure you go later in summer to get full use of facilities.
Lovely staff and ok breakfast (we only made it a few times as we like to sleep on holiday- and all the staff seemed to notice our absence which was funny but a little odd) But all in all great hotel

Just come back from a lovely week in Dubrovnik, spent 7 nights in an apartment overlooking the harbour with our toddler.
The staff were always excellent and very very friendly, our son will miss chatting to Mia at breakfast! :-) Room was very clean, free wifi was great and we didn't have to worry about our toddler getting up to no good because the room was very child friendly.
Dubrovnik was a 40 minute walk (with pram) but this wasn't too much of a hassle cos it was a pleasant walk and meant we burned off a few extra calories we had consumed in wine and cheese!
Wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere clean and pleasant to stay in dubrovnik :-)
