I agree with a previous poster in saying that some of these reviews have been unfairly negative; this is a 2-star hotel and so should be assessed accordingly. I stayed at Hotel Omir for 5 nights and had a pleasant experience. The rooms are basic and feel somewhat dated, but do the job perfectly (comfortable bed, clean bathroom, two fans to cool the room down). The hotel is reasonably priced for such a central location, and most places you'll want to visit in Pula are within walking distance (my friend and I only took the bus to visit the beach at Stoja). The staff are very friendly once you get chatting to them - especially the two owners, who gave us a lot of helpful advice and recommendations. Their breakfasts set me up well for the day, and they now offer nice dinners in the evening too!More
