Amazing accommodation perfectly located, there is a small shop down the road and a large supermarket about 5 mins walk away. A bar located round the corner a fab and busy restaurant. The tourist information and pharmacy also close and this is were you can catch a bus into the center of Zadar. There is a marina and a few more lovely restaurants within walking distance of the hotel along the water front. You can walk into Zadar along the water front its a beautiful walk but would take you about 30 mins where as a taxi is about £6 into town and £4 back on a meter. You can get dropped on onside and walk over the bridge or the taxi will take you all the way round. There is so much to do in Zadar and surrounding areas a week was not enough to explore as we were having too much fun relaxing by the pool. The apartments are spacious clean and have everything you need, hairdryers, mirrors, lots of plug sockets, digital tv fridge kitchen facilities wine glasses plate pans pots although its too hot to cook. Each room has a balcony, aircon is brilliant. The apartments are immaculate as is the pool and surrounding areas. You are welcomed by the owner or and Aidriana the lovely lady who prepares breakfast is so lovely nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is basic fresh bread with honey, jam's cream cheese, yogurt fruit orange juice and coffee. Served in the seating area by the pool where you can sit enjoying the free wifi. We were up in the top room with a beautiful ocean view and this room also has use of the wifi which was great. The owner is so kind full of knowledge and helpful information about the area he will do all he can to ensure your holiday is perfect. I would return in a heart beat. Croatia is beautiful Zadar has so much to offer. We hired a car and went to the Krka waterfalls a definite must and then drove to Pag to Zcre to party all night on the beach if you love to party this is a must it has to be seen to be believed. Villa Julian is the place to stay when you visit its a little out of the centre but not to far to cause problems and the beauty of having a pool makes it perfection. If your staying for a week or just passing through make sure you make Villa Julian your home away from home. I cant wait to return,

Room Tip: All rooms were fantastic we had 6, but 3 also looked great, there is one room without a balcony but even that was fine as the aircon was brilliant.

I went here with a girl friend of mine and we shared an apartment. The apartment was on the top floor and was a decent space for us girls to get ready in, play music in, enjoy the balcony in - and importantly, had enough wardrobe space (and hangers) for us both. The fridge came in very handy, crockery, glassware and extra bits were most helpful. We arrived quite late but were greeted at the front door (by a man who spoke no English - but was as helpful as he could be). The owner, who we met the following day, could not have been a better person to have stayed with. We even bumped into him on our last day at the place just around the corner, which we frequented a couple of times (best fries we've ever had - and LOVED the big glasses of Ožujsko, arguably the best beer in the world).
If you want breakfast here you need to pre-order. Otherwise there are a couple of hotels just down the road where you can purchase breakfast on the day. If we'd thought about it we could have gotten food from the supermarket....
It is based up on the Dikla district, in the north west, close to the beaches and away from the centre - but the number 5 and 8 buses take you straight into main Zadar within 5-10 mins, along a beautifully scenic harbour. The hotel is, in fact, on a residential street, so feels a bit strange laying out in front of the very beautifully kept pool area - but not strange enough not to do it ;) Fig trees, orange trees, grape vines and olive trees surround the pool area and it was a welcome and private way to sunbathe and cool down.
On the whole the hotel/apartments were a great choice for us - but if you have a troupe to move around or are an older person then maybe stay in the centre, otherwise, it was a fantastic stay - pics to follow.

This apartment was clean (other than the ants, but I guess there's nothing you can do about them) and spacious with a double bed in one room and a couch that folds out to be a double bed in the other, as well as a small table and chairs, a kitchen (no coffee machine/kettle or microwave though) and two balconies. Like almost all Croatian vacation rentals, it was not child-friendly at all: the gaps in the balcony railing were big enough for a kid to fall through. The biggest drawback is that the nearby beaches are very crowded and so very dirty - if you have a car, though, then you can visit the much nicer beaches in the Nin area.
