I spent a night in the hotel during my business trip in Zadar. The hotel is really very good, clean, the room and the bathroom are big enough and good equipped. There is free wifi in the room. The staff is friendly, the breakfest is rich. The location is not really attractive, but in my case it was not relevant.

Have just got back after spending four days/three nights in Croatia. We spent the last night at the Mediteran as we were flying the next morning from Zadar - this hotel is situated perfectly. We were in room 110 and it was great - warm, clean and spacious. The surrounding area is a little scruffy but please don't let this put you off - the Hotel is great and the staff can't do enough for you. After spending the early evening in the harbour and watching the sunset and listening to the "organ" we arrived back at the Hotel windswept and interesting! After a hot shower and a quick change we chose to eat in the Hotel restaurant and did not regret it. I had the Chicken Gabriella and it was lovely - hubby had salmon with linguine and again it was a thumbs up! The portion sizes were more than generous and came with a basket of fresh bread so no desserts were needed. We then moved to another area where we had coffee together with complimentary liqueurs. We had booked for bed and breakfast and again there was plenty to choose from cereals, eggs, fruit, yogurts, bacon and sausage, breads, pastries and various fruit juices and the obligatory tea and coffee. Great stay, great staff and I can quite honestly say that I have never stayed in a Hotel that was so clean - absolutely spotless - the whole place was gleaming - especially the marble floor in the restaurant! Highly recommended.

Room Tip: The room we were in was in the back of the hotel overlooking the car park - away from the main road...

The Hotel Mediteran is good value for money as it is some way out of Zadar. It is essential to have a car to get anywhere. The area behind and to one side of the hotel is however scruffy and a group of Roma nearby were noisy early in the evenings but quiet when we needed to sleep. We were concerned however about the unsecured hotel parking lot. The staff were very friendly. We found an excellent restaurant on the coast road into the centre of Zadar which was full of locals and with a wonderful view.

We returned to this hotel as we had a great experience the first time. Sometimes you find when you go back to the same place that it is never as good but this was not the case. We visited the hotel with my parents and again we were not disappointed. The receptionists were brilliant and were happy to recommend places to visit including printing off ferry and bus timetables for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Free wifi is a bonus, the breakfast is lovely and you would find it hard to beat. The most important thing for my parents is that they feel safe in a hotel and you absolutely do in this hotel. Service is excellent and we will be returning next year for a 3rd time. As extra info it costs about 40 kuna in a taxi to the centre and 10 kuna one way on a bus so if there are 4 of you it's the same price on the bus as the taxi. 40 kuna is just under £5.00.

Room Tip: all rooms are fantastic however there are no lifts so you may want to consider a low floor

We stayed here for a few nights and visited Plitvice and Paklenice Parks - very convenient to get out of Zadar, stop at the grocery store and spend the day walking/hiking. Good breakfast, free wi-fi, helpful staff, clean rooms. Free parking also helped. Easy to drive to the Most bridge and then walk to the Old Town.

Room Tip: We asked for a room at the back - which was off the main street and therefore quieter.

Travalling alone I came from Russia, to stay in Mediteran for 10 nights. Everything was of high quality: 1) friendly and always helpful staff, 2) clean and convinient room; 3) generous breakfasts included in the price and delicious dinner with their ownmade-wine - worthy to taste! Free Wi-Fi - was great plus!! 20 min by bus to go to the center - is not a problem. Beach is not far - aproximately 12 min walking.

I liked my staing in the Mediteran and really appreciate that its staff did all their best to make me feel so.
Recommend this hotel for everyone who values quallity, delicious cuisine, and good service for worthy price. May be good both for young people and adults having vacation in Zadar.

Stayed one night, was very pleased. A little ways from the water front, but easy to get there. Ample parking easy to get to your room. The rooms were very comfortable with a small balcony. The breakfast was very good and included in the cost of the room. If I were to go to Zadar I would stay at the this hotel again. It was not the least expensive of our stays, but well worth the cost. It had a nice cozy bar with reasonable prices.
