This is a gorgeous cemetery and you can visit the graves of many famous Ukrainians, including Ivan Franko. I took a tramvai to the cemetery (It left from the center of the city and stopped right in front of the cemetery--perhaps a 10 minute ride). You have to pay a small fee for admission, I think it was a little over a dollar for entrance and also a photo pass.

There is a directory of graves and small informational display at the entrance--in Ukrainian.

Really nice but a bit sad place. It's a cemetery at least. There are a lot of graves of famous Ukrainians. Beautiful sculptures. The tram is not going often there. So better to take a bus till church of Petra and Pavla, and from then 5 min by foot.

Absolutely serese place to stroll and relax, to contemplate history of the city and passing by... Beautiful sculptures, ornaments and landscape. Sad thing is that the tumbs are being notorically destroyed by the Ukrainians? For example the plaster pictures of the people are broken and you can clearly see it was done with a stone or a nife. On purpose. Why? Because the majority of tumbs are of polish citizens ot the town from before 1945. Not a single of those ukrainian ones are damaged. All and all worth visiting, athough you pay a fee to a drunk guard. The money goes probably to his own pocket. No tickets. By the way, tickets to the cemetery is not a fair idea.
