I very much enjoyed walking around this pedestrian area; probably more so than Knez Mihailova Street in Belgrade. I think It's more attractive than Belgrade's and it's less crowded. There are many cafes, restaurants, and shops to visit and I found the area to be quite picturesque. It's certainly worth a visit when in Novi Sad.

It is packed with cafes, shops, pubs and restaurants. The buildings in the area are nicely kept and the whole zone looks friendly enough, mostly due to the abundance of people moving everywhere.

It is also a place where you may go if you have no plans. You can just appear there and wait for something to happen. Sometimes a brass band will appear, or you could just sit at a cafe and watch the people passing by.

Wonderful promenade with beautiful buildings and quaint cafes leading from the Bishop's Palace to the Dunav park. Also, there are many shops with women clothes and accessories.

This pedestrian zone is actually the heart of Novi Sad. You can take a relaxing walk, looking at the beautiful buildings and churches, have a coffee or a drink, sit at a restaurant and eat or do some shopping. The street is very large, not really crowded (probably because it is so large) and you can have a very nice time in the centre of this beautiful city!

It's wonderful just to walk around and around to see the beautiful and colorful buildings. The architect is nice for the ones that have been remodeled. There are many others that are broken down. It would be great if they were remodeled. The city center would be even more attractive.
On the weekend, many people are here for shopping, relaxing by siting down at one of many tables having a coffee or soda or smoking and chating with friends and family. I love this atmosphere b/c i get to people watch and having a great cup of coffee or 2 or 3 that can last an hour or two. After that, there are so many restaurants or bars for one to choose for lunch, dinner. Later at night, the bars are packed with the younger crowds, loud music, lots of drinking and still very safe if you do not do anything stupid.

You can spend easily all day here or a long night out. Check it out!
