Description: If you like Mediterranean cuisine, wine and relaxed atmosphere, go ahead - this is the place for you! Authentic menu, based on the Mediterranean style of cooking; on fresh fish, seafood, organic vegetables, homemade pasta, Greek and Dalmatian regions, salads, olive oil and Mediterranean spices. It's great for vegetarians, those who fast or eat low-calorie food, but the real gourmands also like it. With food we serve local wines and brandy from the famous Fruska Gora basement and monasteries and in the end always suggest bermet or calvados with excellent espresso and panna cotta (feel free to lick your fingers).

The restaurant is charming, the service is perfect and the food is amazing! I had my best risotto ever and enjoyed incredible starters.
Do not miss it when you go to Novi Sad!

Thank Fofello

The restaurant has a lovely interior and a nice position. The menu is not too big, but this seems to be the philosophy: working with only a few ingredients that are always fresh and readily available.

The prices and the portions are decent and you do get a sense of getting your money's worth in terms of quantity. However, the food itself falls a bit short on all segments and comes off bland where it shouldn't. For example, everything we had seemed to be missing salt (both the fish and the meat) and seasoning, as if the chef forgot to taste the food before sending it out. The wine selection was also miserable. Last, but not least, the waiters were extremely unprofessional (although not towards us directly, but were trashing another racially mixed couple out loud as soon as they left), which is something that really does not fit the image of this restaurant.

In any case, this owner's other restaurant in Novi Sad, Projekt 72, is a much better in terms of setting, food and wine (although also a bit more pricey). I assume the excellent ratings of Fish and Zelenish are highly attributable to the restaurant's position in the city's touristic centre, but you truly could do much better in Novi Sad.

What a lovely restaurant! Wonderful fish, great waiters who were not only keen to suggest food and knowledgable about wines, but talked to us about the history of the area and really looked after us! We were given free nibbles to start and a free dessert and then we're able to taste the different raikia's! We had a great time, suitable for families or couples.

Best seafood restaurant in Novi Sad. Besides fish, large variety of other meals, also vegetarian. Mediteranian style, very cosy interiour. There are two parts of the restaurant, one is non-smoking, what is difficult to find in Novi Sad.
