“Charming hotel with a perfect location!”

Charming boutique hotel in old town of Kotor. Nice unique decoration and excellent service! The hotel has a nice restaurant and in some rooms a lovely sea view.

The hotel is small and inconspicuous, but the lively rooms with some interesting design ideas are superb. We were lucky enough to receive what I think is by far the best room in the hotel, a balcony with a view to the bay, large living area and uplifting design. The hotel's restaurant is nice, and their "order anything you want" breakfast is great.

Room Tip: Ask for room Theta in the 3rd floor, the only room with a sea view balcony.

I stayed here in the summer of 2013 with my wife for our anniversary. We loved it. The service was outstanding. The location was perfect and the room was all that we can ask for. Our room had a nice deck and overlooked the bay. This was the highlight of our trip to Montenegro. We loved Kotor and loved hotel Astoria. Highly recommended.

The hotel is in a great location just inside the city walls. The room was spacious and very comfortable with everything we needed. The staff we encountered in all departments were friendly and efficient.
We stayed for two nights and were a little worried about the noise having read previous reviews but rest assured the windows are double glazed and we slept without interruption.
My only criticism's are for first timers the hotel is tricky to find and parking arrangements were not made clear to us though we were promised an email on 2 occasions and also they have these ultra modern showers with various functions but unfortunately none of them work so they would be better off ripping them out and just putting in standard showers. That said they are only two tiny things and in no way detracted from our stay and we would definitely return.

We loved the Hotel Astoria. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and we had the one and only room with a balcony overlooking the square. The highlight was the supermodern bathroom, with a large shower with many jets of water at different angles, and a marble sink that lit up from below, showcasing the grain in the stone (well, whatever you call it when it's stone. I'm using an analogy for wood, but you get the idea).

Breakfast was fine, and the desk help were very pleasant. They loaned us an umbrella when it rained. They packed a lunch in lieu of breakfast, since we had to leave early.

This hotel was my favorite on our trip. The room was beautiful and amazingly large. Located inside the city walls, the location is ideal. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, The room had a balcony which was perfect for enjoying the view of old town.

We spent 3 nights here in mid june and loved it. The hotel is old and beautiful but the rooms are refurbished and modern. As we were traveling with a baby they supplied us with a cot and put is in a room facing the city walls instead of the square because it's much quieter which we appreciated. The room had everything we needed including a mini fridge and satellite tv. The showers are pretty nifty except one button on ours was broken so we couldn't try it's full functionality just a normal shower. The staff we extremely friendly and helpful which was great but the real treat was breakfast which is included in the room rate. Bar astoria next door provides breakfast and you can pick anything from the breakfast menu, the English breakfast is to die for, and when I asked to have mine with a side of hollandaise sauce there were no problems or extra charges. Breakfast also is served until 13:00 so we could easily sleep in but still enjoy a great start to the day. The location is fantastic right in the centre of the old town. We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay. When we come back to kotor we will be sure to stay here again
