We found this restaurant by chance trying to find a good place browsing on the net.
The restaurant is located in the old town of Kotor on a back street, and probably your chances passing by are low.... So you need to watch out for it. Cesarica is a small place with a few tables inside and couple of tables on the street. The waitress was very friendly and helpful explaining what we should eat and also recommending a local wine.
We had cuttlefish risotto - which was excellent- and dried cod mashed with potatoes which was a local dish, our waitress told us.
The local wine was also fine and altogether we paid a good price for what we had. That place is good value!

We came rather late in the evening and there was no one else in the restaurant but it was such a cosy atmosphere inside with exposed brick work, nautical decorations and lots of bottles of wine around the bar. The fried squid were absolutely delicious - fresh, tasty and perfectly cooked. The fish and chips were fab too and you should try pouring some vinegar onto the white meat of the sea bass and sea bream, added great flavour.

We were delighted with the white wine as well which was just over 1 euro for a glass and really exceeded expectations! Highly recommended.

We came to this place based on other TripAdvisor reviews and it lived up to the reviews. The food is very simple, but fresh and the prices will not deter you. It's just off a small square in old town Kotor and the inside dining area is fairly small. The service is great and quick. Granted we came during low season, the restaurant is small enough that the service and attention will still be good. Must tries are the stuffed squid and any of their grilled fishes.

We recommend this small family run restaurant on one of the narrow side streets in old Kotor. We sat outside listening to live guitar players from another restaurant. The inside was filled with non English speakers but the waitress could speak English and a multi language menu was available. You go here for the fish. The octopus salad and the whole sea bass was wonderful and not pricey.
Had a full dinner in about 1 and 1/4 hours.

Was recommended this place by our hotel and we were not disappointed.
Tucked in a very private corner of the Old Town, away from wandering and curious onlooking tourists (a common thing in Kotor), we were attended to very promptly by a fairly stern waitress.
That aside, my grilled seabass and my wife's grilled squid were out of this world ... freshness with wonderful seasoning, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
Worth a try and it just adds to that special feel of a truly special place.
