Neat church on the main square. St. Tryphon holds relics and history in a still-used small cathedral. There are remains upstairs and interesting religious pieces. Make sure to go upstairs and walk around the whole sanctuary to catch all the things on display.

It was clear that this church is part of an active community. The building is of brick rather than stone, and has been restored after the 1979 earthquake.
As far as I can see, St. Tryphon is rather legendary (see the Wikipedia article rather than the Orthodox hagiography) but that does not detract from the building, nor form the upstairs museum or treasury which is worth visiting. If you are in Kotor this is definitely not to be missed.
I might add that a few of the photographs in the gallery seem to be misplaced.

This was the only church open on our Sunday day trip to Kotor. Enjoyed the inside of the church- had a different feel than a lot of old churches. Small fee admitted you to a museum upstairs and a balcony looking out to the square.

Beautiful Cathedral. There is a fee (cant remember how much) but worth it. t was not very much, but you get to see some very nice exhibits up stairs and you get a nice view of the main square. I love old churches and this one is well worth the visit.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet and seeing the interesting artefacts at St Tryphon. You can go upstairs for more exhibits and look down at the square below.

Not too expensive and worth a visit!
