“Extremely well organized hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2012

Upon arrival we were well treated by the front office staff who creerfully changed us to a more quiet room on the inside with no view. They also arranged taxis for us pre establishing the price so that we were not ripped off.

We had dinner in the main dining room both nights we were in Sevastopol. Food, service & wine were efficient. A hardy breakfast was also served in this room that has an excellent view of a small harbor & out to the Black Sea.

As other reviewers have pointed out, the location is good. I didn´t see any other hotels in the city that looked any better than this one.

The bed was hard as were all others in Crimea. The Wi Fi worked well.

No complaints.

Not the best hotel I ever stayed in, but considering that I paid less than 60 Euros for my single room, what they had to offer was far superior to what one would get at the same price in Western Europe. At this price there's really nothing that one can criticize. My single room was small but was clean and had all the comforts and amenities one would expect. My only complaint is that there wasn't enough room to rest my regular size suitcase. The hotel is housed in what seems to be a period building but isn't, and is excellently located in the centre of town right in front of the bay. Oddly enough, the hotel seems to have not been designed and build to take maximum advantage of the view. One can only admire that if one books a sea-view room or from the restaurant's verandah. The bar is wedged tight into a corner between the reception and the stairs, with a ridiculously small seating capacity (unless you consider the lobby as an extension of the bar). With plenty of room, and a verandah, on the first floor’s landing, I don't understand why they didn't place it there. The hotel video also promotes the cafe and Japanese restaurant which are both located in the same building. However, for some strange reason, they can only be accessed from the street; an inconvenience during bad weather. Finally, the hotel has no lift. So if you are stairs-challenged, better ask for a room on the ground floor.

Was here in late fall of 2011. Its a normal 3-4 star hotel, given the city its located in, probably makes it closer to 4 or even 5. Rooms are basic, doors and walls are thin. Food is nothing to rave about, but the veranda is the best part. I would probably stay again because the other options are very limited in this city.

I arrived late at the hotel, and got a very nice welcome when I arrived. Single room was pretty small, but had all the amenities. Fridge/minibar, great bathroom with shower, flat screen TV with multiple channels, and a nice desk. Nice view to the right side of the hotel. A nice courtyard with the harbor to the left, and the window opened to let in the fresh air. Free internet was good, and reached my room with a fair signal. Although it was out hotel-wide the last morning I was there.

Buffet breakfast was top tier. A great breakfast room with a balcony overlooking the harbor when the weather is nice. Location is dead center of all the action. Food and entertainment options abound all within a few steps. Staff spoke English, which can be very valuable for a non Russian speaker in the Crimea. Parking was available. A few free, non-secure spots in front, and secure, paid parking for about $6 a night. I used the free, and had no issues.

Small complaint that the room doors didn't close on their own. I stupidly found this out twice when returning to my room with the door cracked. Yikes. But never anything missing. I'll take the blame, but still. :)

Value wasn't great overall, but hotel is likely the best in town.

This hotel is centrally located and has a sushi restaurant and also a cafe and if you are staying at the hotel you get a 10% discount on them. The cafe is great for desert. There is free wifi but the signal is a bit weak in the rooms but is good in the lobby. There is no elevator. Comfortable beds and comfortable stay.

This is a very nice and comfortable hotel! The staff speaks English and they are friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location, near the water, and there are numerous restaurants, stores, shops, markets, etc., all around it, so you can walk most places. I was there for business, so I didn't take in any of the tourist or historical attractions, so I can't say how far those places are from the hotel, but there is plenty to do and see in the immediate area. The rooms are comfortable and large for European standards and the free wireless Internet worked very well. There is a restaurant in the hotel and it was quite good, with inside and outside sitting. Like other travelers have already stated, there is no elevator/lift, so be prepared to hike the stairs.

I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again and recommend it for others.
