I´ve been at Maida's for two night in August. It's a special family run hostel. They are very kind and close to any needs. Position is excellent, 5 minutes walk to train/bus station. Clean and cosy.
A special mention to the trip they organize in the surrounding areas.
Not to be missed if in Mostar!

Majdas will always have a special place in my heart. I stayed 4 nights at her wonderful hostel in Mostar, and only wished I could have stayed permanently! Hostel Majdas is incredibly homely and friendly. Not only does Majdas make you feel at home, but the atmosphere she creates facilities the forging of friendships among fellow travellers. As a solo female, it was very easy for me to make friends in the communal spaces. One of my cutest new friends – the wee little cat Batman – you may even get to meet as well! I recommend booking at least 3 nights here. Everyone always does in the end. Also: you must do one of Bata’s tours – beg if you must – they are un-missable!

Room Tip: The four bedroom is idea, but even if only one of the 7 bedrooms is left, stay here anyway!

Absolutely amazing hostel! So welcoming and helpful in every way! Bosnian coffee and cake on arrival and instantly warm atmosphere in which to make friends. Everything is clean and there's enough showers and toilets any time of day; breakfast is tasty, traditional and it's nice to be able to sit outside and have the chance to meet even more people. Definitely go on Bata's tour, I enjoyed it all and learnt so much! I stayed 3 nights but realise now I should have taken the chance to stay longer in this great hostel and in Mostar which is a fascinating place! Definitely recommended!

I stayed here based on a recommendation and was not disappointed! Majda and Bata are very welcoming, kind and friendly. From the coffee and cake on arrival to the cosy loungeroom, spotless rooms, incredible showers and beautiful outside area, there is a lot of attention to detail. Bata's tour was definitely unique! His style may not be for everyone but I absolutely loved it, and we were able to see many different places in one day. Also fascinating to hear his perspective on there history and conflict in the area. Breakfast was delicious and location was perfect. Highly recommend!

Majda is a great host; freshly cooked hot (with fresh veggies from the hostel garden!) and an amazing infusion of herbs as welcome and farewell. Rooms are spotless: I stayed in a 4 bed dorm. Bathrooms are brand new and super clean with powerful shower. You can relax in the backyard with garden. When I was staying there there was even an inflatable swimmig pool. Well located and great vibe. I highly suggest this hostel when in Mostar

I loved staying at Majdas Hostel. It’s a really cozy hostel with friendly atmosphere where people can share travel experience and have nice time together. This is also thanks to Majdas herself which is a perfect host and create the right mood for this. As soon as you walk in you are offered a welcome drink and slice of cake under the shade of the garden. All around is so colorful and relaxing. The garden is super to spend some hours when the weather is nice, inside you have a big common room with a big sofa where you can enjoy time with other guests. Majdas is always ready to share experiences and we also had the opportunity to hear her memories of the 90s period, which of course were not good memories but important to hear. The center is walking distance (10 mins to Stari Most) and the bus/railway station is maybe 3 mins walking from there. So all in all, I suggest everybody to go there :)
