“Great location with lovely staff”
Reviewed 15 August 2014

On arrival, we were offered a welcome drink and snacks which we had on the rooftop terrace. I had a view of Mostar Bridge from my room. I also had a balcony. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, even offering fresh juices. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again if I return.

We enjoyed our quick one night stay (traveling from Sarajevo to Split) in Mostar at the lovely Villa Anri. The staff was so kind and welcoming. They brought us fruit, wine, and a late night snack of cold cuts and cheese. The location and view can't be beat and the price is very reasonable. Our 4 bed (quad room) was very clean. My only suggestion would be for them to spend a little money and upgrade their very scratchy towels to something a little softer!

The location was excellent. It was a stones throw away from the famous Mostar bridge and old town. The breakfast was excellent. Few hotels of this size offer fresh juice on arrival to breakfast. The rooms were spacious and attractive. But the highlight has to be the warm and generous staff who make you feel like a guest in their own home. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Mostar.

Great location just a few minutes walk from old town, beautiful building with great decor, very friendly and helpful staff. We had a room on the terrace level which offered phenomenal views of old town and Stari Most. We loved the inside decor of our hotel as it was in Bosnian style and extremely spacious for europe. I would recommend this place to anyone, its worth the price if you stay the night in Mostar (we came from dubrovnik by taking the 8:00am bus on autotrans and left on the 10:15 am bus towards Dubrovnik the next day).

Room Tip: Get the Terrace view, its worth the extra money

We spent 2 nights in balcony room overlooking the Old Bridge. Room was spacious with plenty of outside balcony space, where our breakfast was served each morning.

All staff were lovely and without question the friendliest hotel personnel we encountered during our 2 months away. They actually talked to you, offered assistance and genuinely were interested in your welfare. Must say that the Bosnian people consistently were the friendliest we encountered throughout Europe.

Lovely hotel and were offered a gift of bottle of wine on departure which is a representation of their lovely hospitality. There is no question about where to stay in Mostar if you ever make it that far.

I recently stayed here with my husband and two young children in a room with 4 beds for 1 night on our way to Montenegro (from Split). The room was clean and spacious and just what we needed. The hotel is located a stones through away from the bridge and parking was an added bonus.
As others have put the staff couldn't be more helpful, they were very friendly and accommodating.
I would certainly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Mostar.

Room Tip: Ask for the 4 bed room at the front of the hotel with a view of the bridge...

Villa Anri is a lovely guesthouse located just above Mostar's old town. It was nice to stay in a real "local" neighborhood, yet be steps away from the historic center. Our room was spacious and very well cared for, every bit as nice as depicted on their web site. Many rooms feature terrific views of the iconic Stari Most, in addition to those from the large roof terrace (open to all guests). With off-street parking and easy access to the city's major sights, it offers the best in both location and convenience. Best of all, the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful -- they made our visit extraordinary...particular cheers to Tanya and Sabina! They arranged a private tour for us around the area (a great learning experience), set up transfers to and from the bus station, provided delicious breakfasts, offered expert advice on exploring the town and, most of all, shared candid, good-humored insight into their city and their culture. Highly recommended!
