We stayed 2 nights and certainly by western standards, this place is a bargain. The pool & spa area was phenomenal. We had wished the whirlpool had a warmer temperature but the pool was so warm and lovely, it didn't matter.
Rooms were large, quiet and we loved the view at night with the twinkling lights of the city. Very convenient being located on the top two floors of the shopping mall.
We thought the breakfast was very good, aside from a crying baby and a couple kids well, acting like kids. Obviously not the hotel's fault. The selection was very good & nicely presented.
My 4 star rating, instead of 5 star, really came down to a few little things but if you call yourself a 5 star, these things need to be there
-When we checked in, whether we needed help or not with our luggage, we should have been asked.
-Coffee/tea setup in room, but not providing ANYTHING but cups& kettle. Really? We went down to grocer in shopping mall to buy supplies.
-After our room was cleaned...they didn't even give us clean glasses or take away the dirty coffee cups.
-This is just an observation on staff: the male staff seemed more customer service oriented than the females on staff. The women sort of made me feel they were doing me a favor by helping me.
This aside, I would certainly stay here again.
