We had a couple of meals at Hebros Restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed both of them. The setting and environment were perfect: we sat in a lovely, quiet garden and were served by a polite, knowledgeable but friendly young lady. The menu includes mainly traditional Bulgarian dishes cooked to perfection: we especially loved the Tarator and Kyopolu, and is coupled with some of the best that Bulgarian wine making has to offer. Everything was prepared to perfection and we loved the service too. In the end we were treated to some ice cream which was also great. Pricewise, this is more than affordable for the Western traveller, although, my understanding is that this restaurant is expensive according to local standards. Ingredients used are locally sourced and organic, a reason enough in itself to visit. I would strongly recommend!
