When the taxi dropped us off in front, it was dark and I began to feel nervous that the hotel was a mistake. Once we checked in and got to our room I was very happy. The rooms were nice and big. It was cold outside but the rooms were toasty. Bathrooms were good-sized. The floor had a community sitting area, kitchen and eating area. The eating area was amazing-all windows with views of Mt. Tampa. The price was right, girls at the front desk were wonderful and friendly and within walking distance to Old Town.

My husband and I stayed last December in Residence Ambient, together with some friends. Rooms are very large and very comfortable, outside it was frezen but accommodations were warm. Externally the hotel seemed to be old... but inside the Residence has been recently renovated, so you have at your disposal comfortable facilities and a nice kitchenette were you can stay all together and have tea! Rooms are spacious and clean; our accommodation was composed by a wide sitting-room, a bathroom and the bedroom. Location is pretty good as you can walk just 5/10 minutes and you can reach the historical city center of Brasov. Breakfast was taken to our Residence every morning therefore we did not have at our disposal a full buffet breakfast room (we had to chose the day before, which kind of breakfast we wanted to have, from a selection of menu)... but at least it's ok. We highly reccommend this Residence!
