Thought we were getting a good deal through a coupon site, but we were wrong. Outside: The pool water was dark green and cloudy with live frogs living in it. (unbelievably - people still swam in it) The hotel was surrounded by trash and piles of trash with vagabond dogs rummaging through it. Dogs wandering the parking lot, peeing on cars and begging. The building is falling apart and the vegetation is all way overgrown. It looks absolutely terrible.
Inside: The lobby is nice enough, though their were a couple of musty smelling rooms right off of the lobby with open doors, presumably to air out. The hallway lights are on motions sensors that leave the lights on for about 10 seconds. The views out of the public windows are of dirty roofs and the green pool.
Our rooms: Covered with spider webs, live spiders, mosquitos, flies and ants. Linens were washed but stained. We had to request additional towels as there was only one large and one small towel per room. Furniture was broken. Carpeting was moldy smelling and in awful condition. Bathrooms smelled like sewage.
The only thing good about this hotel was the fact that it was fairly cheap (with the coupon.) Otherwise avoid this place at all costs. It claims to be a 3 Star hotel, but it is maybe a half star at best.

Room Tip: Rooms of any sort in this hotel should be avoided

"clean" is a word they never heard of. It was a horrible experience, with a lot of dirt, water all over the bathroom floor, dirty sheets. They were very rude and completly out of line. We had to run away after one night.
Horrible, horrible, horrible. Depressing. There are no words for it.

Room Tip: none! they are all dirty and noisy.

Until now this was the worst experience I ever had. No cold water, no hot water, dirty carpet and towels, broken cable for TV. This hotel doesn't have a booking system. They keep the room keys in a box and when you check in you search for a free room be yourself and when you find it you go back to the reception and request the key.

Room Tip: ground floor or first floor with lake view.

you can spend few money with good services. If you wish a high class hotel, must spend mych money, but at this hotel, can find good services at tree stars and poor services at duble stars. It's your choice!

The only plus of this resort is clean rooms and low price . Bad services and broken beds are only two things that made my vacation one of the worst ever ... I don`t recommend to book your next Romania Vacation to this resort . They have a little parking area and one cripy poll - this is a good choice only if your budget is low that 100$/day otherwise chose another one .

I am from Constanta, so I never needed to stay at a hotel in the town or in Mamaia, but when this opportunity came to go there together with my husbands' family I had higher expectations from a 3*** Hotel. I was hoping they will be able to enjoy and leave with a good impression of my city and the people living there. The reception did not look very professional, not able to offer many info, not very willing to help. The room had a bad smell form the old carpet, and even with the efforts of the staff to clean every day, there was not much improvement. It was said that the rooms are fully renovated but we could not see any visible improvement - old carpet, old drapes, the shower was problematic, as due to the fact there was a cloth curtain, water was all over the bathroom floor and was even reaching under the carpet. The wooden windows and the balcony they showed the suffering they endure during the cold winds of winter. The surrounding, especially on the lake side, was not taken care of (dry grass, old constructions in ruins, dangerous parking lot - some old cement pillars, and some roof of pillars). The restaurant had a terrible band - they were singing some gypsy music called - manele - a major fail - the reason why there were almost no people at the hotel's restaurant and on the terrace. I would say to resume that they do not know how to take fully advantage of the location, as the area is a good one, the lake is just gorgeous at the sunset, the beach is close. We were just lucky to have good weather and a very clean and warm sea. I would sincerely recommend for all the managers of these hotels, not to be only set on the income, but to see also to their clients satisfaction. Try and look on the touristic market and compare the services / quality / prices, try to really make a business and make people want to come back.
