“Alexandria”

its the second largest city in Egypt. This Alexandria has been immortalized by writers such as E-M- Forster and Cavafy. Generations of immigrants from Greece, Italy and the Levant settled here and made the city synonymous with commerce, cosmopolitanism and bohemian culture. you mustn't miss it....

Really appreciated the scale of the museum. Enough to be interesting and not too much to have you saying 'not another bloody museum!'

“Revealing the Graeco Roman Era of Alexandria”
Reviewed 26 May 2013

It is well know that Alexandria was the capital of the modernized world and stayed 600 years like that in ancient antiquities. This museum reveals a lot about this history while Alexandria was known as the white city from the white marble of its palaces , it is a very important place for any one studying Alexandria or enthusiast. There is a part of the Islamic era of Alexandria too
The architecture of the building reveals part of the Alexandrian history when Italian architects came from Europe to build in Egypt. The museum is in part of the old city of Alexandria.
I would recommend it strongly
