just returned from this hotel on 6th June we had been watching reviews as it only opened 1st May and we were worried it wouldn't be ready. Well!!!!!!! we needn't have worried this is the best hotel all inclusive we have ever stayed in. From the moment we stepped off the coach we were treated like vip's. The rooms have everything and I mean everything you could want from fully stocked fridge to bath robes, wine tv fresh fruit, hairdryer and lovely views of the garden, beach and sea as all rooms are sea facing. The food is the best all inc. we have had good choice and not a burger in sight. The staff cannot do enough for you from Hedi, who is guest relations ,Kirsty the rep, to waiters and cleaners. This hotel will definitely increase in popularity as word gets out and no doubt next season the price will go up but it is worth every penny for the service and standard you receive. If you want a holiday just lying by pool or on beach or doing watersports this hotel is fantastic but the area outside of hotel is awful so stay in grounds or go on thomson excursions. Would recommend this hotel everytime for a chilling out holiday so well done Thomsons the hotel and staff are a winner.

All the positive things are correct. Great food great staff and great hotel. I however include in this the entertainment!

We are not 18-30, in fact both in our forties. The entertainment is not over the top it is a perfect blend of relaxation without being boring. If the young couples should choose club 18-30 the older ones should maybe consider Saga!

The problem as always is unsatisfied people shout louder so please don't turn stop providing this level of entertainment as from people I have spoken to I reckon 90% like it.

Keep up the good work jess!

This was our first trip to Tunisia but got to say wont be our last. To any of you who like us booked and then worried what it would be like DON'T is is everything we expected and more.
This hotel is brilliant the friendly staff are an absolute credit to the hotel never came across anyone who didn't smile or make you feel welcome.

rooms - fine , beds very comfortable with nice pillows and spares, the air con want on for our trip but it really isn't necessary yet. Flat screen TV with English channels was a bonus for background noise whilst getting ready and keeping in touch with the world . kettle and hair dryer in the room with loads of teas, including fruit and coffee -bathrooms are in need of a bit of work but were clean and fit the bill (I understand this is an area earmarked for the next renovation during the winter) all rooms have a sea view -so a bonus.

food - some of the best I have had in a buffet based all inclusive normally I get bored by 7 days but not here it was fresh varied and flavoursome. - loads of choice

Thompson Rep Kirsty was available for a good % of the day and although we didn't have any problems she gave us some great advice and she had a good visibility in the hotel - friendly and very approachable. Hedi ( gok wan of Tunisia!!wait and see )had us in stitches morning noon and night what a character and is an amazing customer relations rep

Entertainment- well we weren't expecting anything to be honest and were pleasantly surprised. There was an excellent duo TNT on a few times during our stay that were fantastic just a shame they are leaving soon. Jess the entertainment rep has come under lots of scrutiny in some previous reviews- come on guys give the girl a break she is trying her best to make everyone happy. This is a very small hotel so if there is music on in one area it is difficult not to hear it everywhere. The daytime band playing and cocktail making day was by far the best daytime we had-and we gave Jess this feedback but I also think it was balanced out by some days where it was quiet ( we were told that some people had complained they wanted to chill out so she tried to balance it out) its not her fault only 4 people did water aerobics she is paid to do this as part of the hotel remit so won't have a choice -- well done Jess its hard to please everyone but I think you tried. Couples come in all ages ranges so hard to cater for all !!
Staff are brilliant Helmi at the pool was a treasure arranging beds and moving umbrellas about. Can't fault any of the staff they are fantastic friendly and proficient(apart from 1 waiter in the resteraunt who we gave a tip of our last 2 dinar too to get rid of it and he came back over and told us it was the equivalent of 1 cigarrette!! !) - well give it back then pal !!! but he was by far in the minority we did tip the best staff who were very grateful no matter what but it really isn't expected.

I disagree totally that this was like an 18-30 holiday - or Benidorm - I appreciate some people want to have a romantic quiet time and not mix with other holiday makers however in my opinion this hotel was conducive of such a great atmosphere that many couples become great friends with other couples and became groups - we came with great people and met more great people ( Jeff & Julia Lorraine & Archie Paul&Rebecca (carly2) David&Pat to name a few) thanks for adding to this great week! (thanks to David for your final gift we loved it !! Haha) -
Unfortunately couples vary in ages , and genders so to cater for the needs of 18 year old couples through to 80 year olds will always prove difficult - in my opinion they did a great job .
Not sure why a previous writer was concerned about the same sex groups ...and why they felt this is not the concept of couples - what constitutes a couple ?? Friends/couple what does it matter ? The people booking knew it was a couples hotel so it was so their choice and really shouldn't be questioned by others .

All in all can't fault a thing this hotel will go from great to even greater if it continues as it is -think the majority of us got a bargain price for the hotel booking before opening and we have to remember this in our reviews- small amount of work ongoing mostly planting of flowers and trees nothing to bother anyone !!!

Hope this puts people at ease ..happy to answer any questions . Look forward to your hols guys you won't be disappointed - have a great time X

I stayed here for a week from the 2nd June and it was a fantastic holiday.

I want to start off by mentioning that we did have a few issues during the holiday - but these were simply teething problems as a result of it being recently refurbished. The staff were beyond amazing when it came to sorting this out.

The hotel itself was incredibly clean, and our room and bathroom were a good size. The food is to die for, especially the cakes! You won't go hungry whilst staying here.

During the holiday, my boyfriend and I only went on one trip which we booked through a guy called 'ali baba'. He offered various trips, but we chose the pirate boat. We were picked up by a private taxi (Mercedes) and taken to the boat. We got the chance to see dolphins, jump off the boat into the sea and go fishing, as well as watching the belly dancing and acrobats. This trip cost us £20 each and was well worth the money.

We also decided to go to the hotel spa for a Turkish Bath, Scrub & Mask and full body massage. Although the prices were originally quite high, we managed to haggle and get a good deal for the package we wanted. The service we received was excellent, the staff were fantastic and the treatments were well worth the money,

As I mentioned previously - the staff were amazing. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and were relaxed the whole time. A special mention to Hedi - he is fantastic and solved any issues very quickly, and always put a smile on our faces. Also Helmi, the lifeguard who was always on hand to provide towels and sun loungers - we spent a lot of time chatting with him too. Ozzy and Sami were also extremely friendly and helpful. On the whole, all the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

We attended the campfire on the beach, and also a pool party which Jess arranged due to the Chinese Acrobats being cancelled. We really enjoyed both of these, especially the lvie music by TnT. The rep, Kirsty, was also excellent giving advice and solving any issues we had.

A few people complained about the air con - but during our stay the air con in the room worked perfectly between 10am and 4pm, and 10pm and 4am - exactly what reception had told us.

This hotel was well worth the price we paid, and I would definitely recommend it to others - we will most likely be returning in the future!
