I stayed here for 14 nights. The room was clean of adequate size and was regularly and properly cleaned. The lifts worked, the air-con cum heating worked well. The location was a good compromise. The hot water was there whenever you wanted. The breakfast was adequate, the croissants warm and if you found it boring, being the same every day, you could go to the local big supermarket (1.2km distant) and supplement the basics with those little extras. The kitchen could produce more that adequate food for the snack-bar cum restaurant.

The service was good. Considering the price this place was excellent. It even had a spa and a pool.

This is not a luxury resort, but it is fantastic value for money and a perfectly adequate standard of accommodation.

If you want a reasonable, but basic hotel at a very reasonable price this place is absolutely fine. The check in staff were not super friendly, and the elevator wasn't working when we arrived. The rooms are sparse, but the price you pay is ridiculously cheap considering what you get. There is a pool, and most importantly for us a hammam where you can get massages and other treatments. While we were there we availed of the special whereby you got time in the jacuzzi, steam room, a salt scrub Hammam rub-down and massage for 70 dinar which worked out at about 35 euros. Loved it both times! Also only a 10 minute walk from the beach (downhill :) !!)

As it says in the title, if you want a simple and basic hotel with a pool, this is it!
Me and my partner wanted a hotel in Tunisia but didn't want all-inclusive because I am a fussy lad, so we stayed here B n B in late September. Rooms were basic, air-con, shower, TV, and balcony, and the cleaners were fantastic.
Breakfast was a standard affair, usual continental stuff such as boiled eggs, bread and yogurt.
The pool was small but decent enough for a swim and cool down, the restaurant attached to the hotel was also lovely, and cheaper than most (not the restaurant you get if you go half-board).
The beach and sea is about 5 minutes down the road, and the main strip of Sousse also about 5 mins away.
One noticeable thing was that British people seemed to be in the minority in this hotel, which didn't bother us at all.
If you just want a cheap, clean room with the basics and a decent base to explore, then this is the place. You get what you pay for and we were happy.

Stayed here for a week recently. The rooms are quite basic but very clean with a TV, A/C and balcony. Bathroom was fine and shower very good but seemed to flood the floor everytime you had a shower... !

Had Half-Board and the food was completely adequate. The evening meal was always excellent with meat, vegetables and salads available.

On arrival I checked-in at about 9.40pm just after the restaurant had closed at 930pm so missed out and wasn't offered anything such as a sandwich or even a drink, which would have been nice after a long journey. The staff were efficient without being particularly friendly. They could also change money at Reception.

The location is good not far from the beach and there is a pool at the hotel. You can walk to the train station, although the Metro station for trains down the coast is further away near the Port area. The main bus station is difficult to find and a few km away so best to get a taxi, which are cheap anyway. The Medina is interesting and around the main square there are several restaurants which serve pizza etc. The Tourist Information office on the main square is also very helpful if you want information on trains and local buses.

Overall a good place to visit and very reasonably-priced.

Room Tip: Rooms at front have a view of the sea, although at the back are probably quieter with a view of the City.
