For 35$ a night per room, we had no regrets staying in this hotel. That's Myanmar, hotels are expensive for what they offer compared to other Asian countries. The hotel amenities are basic and the wifi is slow that we have to stay at the lobby to get a connection. Downside-from our room, we can hear the noise from a family living in the adjacen building.

Stayed in a private ensuite room. Lots of space and air con worked well. Wifi only worked in lobby (we were on 2nd floor). TV in room is connected to main TV in lobby - so you watch what they watch. Staff are friendly and helpful - went on a great motorbike day tour with Jo Jo and his brother!

A decent hotel, but like almost all hotels in Myanmar too expensive for what they offer. Right besides a construction site and in neighbourhood of a mosque, where (beginning at 5:00 am!) you WILL hear the muezzin calling. If you don't sleep like a log, it will definitely wake you up because it is so loud, that it blows the wax out of your ears. The rooms are okay but pretty much come down. The bathroom is a catastrophe, maybe that other rooms are better than ours. Breakfast was good, better than in other places. If you are easily annoid by noise, don't go there.

This is a basic backpacker hotel. The basic necessities are there - hot water, AC, sheets. The room was not particularly clean or nice. Notably, the pillows were so outrageously uncomfortable that we chose not to stay there when we returned to Mandalay! The staff is reasonably helpful. The Wifi works better than almost anywhere else we stayed in Burma.

The staff were very helpful, the room was clean and the air-conditioning worked (thankfully). And the wifi internet connection worked (as well as any in Burma, which is to say, fitfully!). Excellent help with planning and arranging the next step in the trip around Burma.

As Mandalay prices have increased so much these past four years, ET Hotel is still a very good price. The owner and staff are extremely kind and tried to accommodate all clients. Because we had been there four years ago, although the hotel was all booked, they still found a spacious and quiet room at the last minute for us. We are grateful for the warm welcome and the help.

Room Tip: Thank you. Hello from Carmo and Phil, and we recommend your hotel to every traveler to Mandalay.

We stayed 3 nights at the ET. Employees are very nice and kind and helped us in planning our permanence and tours. Room was O.K. small and simple but clean. Bteakfast regular A good choice for only $30 per night. A good place to visit Mandalay by bicycle
