79 Living Hotel
Ranked #33 of 112 Hotels in Mandalay
Reviewed 19 September 2013

The hotel just opened this past May. It is clean and comfortable, and reasonably priced. It's on the west side of the train station, but noise from the station is not a problem. You can walk to the moat, and to tea shops and restaurants in the downtown area. You can certainly find cheaper accommodation in Mandalay but you get what you pay for: the rooms here are much less cramped than in the average backpackers' places. Breakfast in the morning, served buffet style, includes fried rice and noodles, not just the usual toast and jam and eggs. The free wifi connection is pretty fast. Staff at the reception desk speak English and Chinese. Overall, a good experience.

Dear Ward K,

Thank you very much for taking time to share your feedback about your stay. I am very glad to hear that you mentioned our hotel location nicely that would be very useful for other guests. Our hotel is located in the heart of Mandalay city and everything you need is around our hotel like Shopping Center, Banks, fruit market, ATM machines, well-known Restaurants and Bars, etc....

I hope your next visit to us also can give you the same good experience or even better.

Yours truly,
Aung Si Thu
General Manager
