I would never reccomend anyone to stay at this hotel. Rooms have a dirty smell, staff totally non cooperative and Rude, food pathetic, even the bathroom utilities are below average. Its a nightmare to stay. I spoiled my trip and would,nt advise Anyone to stay at this hotel.

Let me start by how could you save on bookings. If you are visiting any company ask them to book the room on corporate rates, in this hotel usually all the companies have special rates, even though guest is paying but honestly there is a huge saving. It is strategically located on Shahra e Faisal and all of the buses stop here... Thus people can reach to you and all know it its old name was Taj Mahal, still some taxi drivers remember it is as Taj Mahal, remember both the names. Now Rooms, they have executive floor and there is not a much of a difference (Just USD 10)... The rooms are old but usually clean.. Hotel is not very quite, as during the day a lot of seminars are being held, a lot of TV shows are hosted here too, because of the location and convenience. Free pick and drop that is complimentary are provided. Other than breakfast, I dont recommend any further meals, they are expensive and come on, go around in the city but if you are a foreigner, ask the rent a car within the hotel to take you around, they can wait outside your restaurant for an hour at an extra charge and take you around the city too. Beach is a little far but do go in the eve, sunsets are usually very fine! Dinner should be at port grand or if you are up for traditional Mughal Food, Laal Qilla is a good option... Sea side restaurants are a lot and my favourite is Sajjad's it is near DHA phase 8. Last thing, the hotel is good enough as they have a pool, daily buffet breakfast, old styled big lobby, sauna, Jacuzzi and state of the art health club! Hope you have a pleasant stay! Honestly, you will get what you pay!

Room Tip: Try to upgrade your room, ask for the room NOT on the road side!

I was on a business trip. I stayed in this hotel for couple of nights. Rooms are neat(one of my major concern) but the house keeping staff is not perticualr in providing the necessary items specially the complimentry ones. The view from window is not so eye catching. One can spend time in the games room. However the room services are really very bad from laundry to kitchen. The hotel rates are quite reasonable.

This is a hotel where u hav to spend lot of money for mis-services!!.. it will start from airport pick up, most time they forget to pick up from airport and later they request to hire a taxi and come to hotel. After entering in room many will come one by one for tips, but if u ask something like slipper, comb, multi plug, dish connection they just forgot or ignore. in shower in comot there is very low flow of water for 24/7 days. If you leave hotel and ask for previous bill they just start to show thier power and keep you waiting few days, if u call to reception, line will be drop frequently. these r just few.. there r lots... go and stay at Regent plaza to gather hell experiences!
