My wife and I spent 3 nights here, which was extended by one night. Right from booking this place, service was excellent. Vey quick responses by email which was important for me. Place is really clean and has a very relaxed atmosphere especially when dining on breakfast at the patio. Rented bikes but actually this place is quite centrally located so walking will do. Monks which walk at 530am actually walk right in front of this hotel as well.
Highly recommend this place for stay in Luang Prabang.

Stayed for two nights at this quaint guest house. Mr Vong came to pick us up personally at the airport, which was a pleasant surprise. We made a direct booking with Mr Vong and were happy with the quick emails prior to us reaching Luang Prabang. The room and the bathroom were clean and tidy. We had a nice twin although I will agree with the other reviewers on the rooms being a little dark and slow wifi. The breakfast was really good (coffee was great!)and everyone always made us feel like we were right at home!Quite central and you can easily walk almost everywhere from here. We booked the Caves and Kuang Si Falls tour with Mr Vong directly (we found the rate to be well worth it) and it was great to have an air conditioned car with us, since the heat was unbearable when we visited. Would definitely recommend this place to fellow travellers.

I’d booked this guesthouse on recommendations from other TA members.
The booking was made via Agoda a few days before we landed in LP.
We requested a pick up from the airport in the original booking form with Agoda. Then thought nothing more of it, thinking, for the estimated $7 tuk-tuk fee from the airport to town was no biggie if the pick up didn’t happen to eventuate. I was surprised to exit the airport to see a sign with our names on it. Well done LWH, the fee for the pick up was $8 and well worth it in my opinion.

We enjoyed the breakfast and location but found the rooms a little dark, a little bare and a little expensive.

Room Tip: If you don't get up with the chooks, you'll get up with the Monks.

Everything the other reviewers said is true. The walls are quite thin so you can hear your neighbors and outside noise and the rooms are dark. But, the owner and all of the staff are very kind and it is a great location for seeing Luang Prabang. They gave us great recommendations. The internet was quite slow which made it hard for me to get work done, but hopefully, you can unplug so it won't be a problem. All in all, a good stay.

My wife and I spent 4 nights here and enjoyed our visit. The location is wonderful. It's close to the main street, but this street gets little traffic. Easy to walk to the night market or to some of the lovely little restaurants in town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is simple, but comfortable. The breakfast was nice each morning in the courtyard. We'd recommend this place to others.

Firstly, the location is perfect. Peaceful street that's just around the corner from the main street and river. Breakfast here was simple and lovely that varied slightly each day. The owner and his staff (and sons) were helpful and welcoming. The owner gave great tips and we hired him to drive us to the waterfall and to the airport for a good price. I enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and comfy. Walls are thin, but we had no issues. Would definitely recommend to others

There are only six rooms and the Vong family, particularly Mr Vong and his son are devoted to your comfort and enjoyment. It's perfectly situated in a leafy road just one road back from The Mekong in the old city. Rooms are comfortable and well provisioned. All have a shared terrace or balcony. The excellent breakfast is served in the courtyard. The service here is very personal. Mr Vong collected us from the Airport himself, was very helpful booking us into accommodation in Nong Kiaw when everywhere I tried was full, and even ordered baguettes for us to take on a trip.

Room Tip: All rooms face onto the courtyard, three on the ground floor and three on the first floor.
