I chose to stay in town in one of the Vat Nong duplexes and this was perfect for me, with master suite upstairs and general living area with kitchen downstairs. I especially enjoyed the master suite patio overlooking the street and Mekong. I could walk or bike anywhere in and around town. And yet, it was still peacefully located within view of the Mekong and the staff were courteous and warm.
Another option that I would like to try next time is the Riverside Residence which is just on the outskirts and is along the edge of the Mekong, with an amazing pool and nicely built colonial buildings and rooms. Love Mekong Estate for their simple, elegant taste and quality staff. Will be back for sure!
