“Lovely place.”
Reviewed 25 August 2011

This hotel is new and so everything clean and tidy. Staff are friendly and helpful. Ask them anything and they will provide within 30 sec. A short walking distance to the Mekong River on a quiet lane. 5 - 10 min. It is quiet in the evening and still close to restaurants, bars and massage parlors. Would recommend as quiet, clean place to stay but close to everything.

Satyed here for 7 days and could have stayed a lot longer. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to help out. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and well furnished and had a great shower. Our room (201) had a large balcony with a partial view of the Mekong. The location is perfect. A 1 minute walk to the Mekong and a variety of bars, cafes and restaurants and a 5 minute stroll to the night market. The owner even arranged to drive us back to the airport. My only small criticism would be the breakfast could be better but wasn't a problem as great baguettes and cakes could be bought for next to nothing very close by. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Great location

Great staff who are very friendly and keen to speak to you to practice their English!

Breakfast: Very basic.

Rooms: Dark and noisy as wooden floors and doors throughout & guests are very inconsiderate to others!!
Shower is amazing!

They just need to do some sound proofing of the rooms & it would be much better!

Found this hotel after looking on line. The room was fantastic, beautifully decorated with teak floors, green glass tiles in the bathroom and attractive lights. We booked for 4 night at $45/night but had to move after one night because although they charge high season rates, its still low season and this means that building work started on another part of the guest house opposite our room at 7am and was on going all day, so not very relaxing. It was a shame to leave as it is a beautiful place, but slightly over priced given the building site status. Would only recommend this if the building had finished. We then moved to a quite place with similar size room on the river from for $15 less.

This is a great little find. The rooms are very clean and modern. Toilet is in a separate room from the shower. The shower head is the size of a dinner plate and the hot water is never ending. This place is worth it just for the shower alone. The location can't be beat. The staff is very nice though English was a bit of a problem. The only downside is that the walls are a bit thin and I could hear both of my neighbors. But I would recommend this place to anyone. Breakfast isn't included in the $30 price, but there are loads of places to eat nearby. Great find!

There is a lot of attention to design detail and construction-quality in this guest house and everything works smoothly and quietly. The staff are very welcoming although their English skills are a little weak. We intended to stay in a guest house in an old French colonial building but it soon became apparent to us that this was a better - and better-looking - option at a lower price.

$30US a night with Joma cafe nearby - ideal for a Western-style breakfast (the 'house' breakfast is pretty ordinary).
