We were extremely pleased with our stay in My Dream resort.
Staff was extremely kind and helpful, location outside city center is great when you don't look for night life proximity (it's anyway very limited in Luang Prabang), but still very easy to access, either with bikes (provided by the hotel) or through bamboo bridge.
Rooms were quite wide and convenient - we had 2 commuting rooms (we have 3 kids).

Overall we had a nice stay. The room was clean with many nice perks. You are provided with four bottles of water each day (we played it safe and used some for brushing our teeth as well), a fruit basket on arrival, a welcome drink and all rooms come with nice balconies. The grounds are pretty which make for a nice setting. The breakfast is also fantastic and you can order eggs upon request. They have nice city bikes to use for free as well.

A few of the negatives and reason for four stars is because we had a do not entry sign on our door but they still came in. Not a huge deal. We think this was just to pull over the mosquito net but still not ideal. The bed was also a little hard. Lastly, the shower did not drain well during the entire time you showered so you were always standing in a little bit of water. Even with these issues, we would stay again due to the positives above.

From the moment we walked through the bamboo entrance way we knew this accommodation was special. Everything and everyone was top notch, including the common areas, the superbly maintained grounds and our tasteful garden view bungalow with private balcony, the service provided by the excellent staff, the breakfast variety and the bicycles. Add to this, the close proximity to both the bamboo bridge, which puts one right in the heart of the key tourist zone, and the old bridge which we used when cycling (there are many bikes, they are in good condition and most have lights) .

A major bonus was that we were able to play tennis at the National Stadium, which is just a 10 minute bike ride from My Dream. We were able to rent racquets and a court with lights (they have two excellent courts in addition to the one used for teaching youth) from just after 5:00 pm. on any day of the week. Thanks to the manager at My Dream for finding out this information on our behalf.

We stayed 5 nights in February! The property is absolutely beautiful and well maintained! We stayed in a cottage which was lovely with a huge balcony to enjoy the lush gardens! We loved the location of the property! Great area to bike ride around with the free bikes the hotel offered! Walking the bamboo bridge into town is a lot of fun and provides for great views & exercise! 2 nice restaurants in the area and a free shuttle 3 times a day into town if u don't feel like walking the bridge! Staff could definitely use some training and better communication skills as a few times they provided us with wrong information, which is why I am not giving it 5*'s! Also breakfast could use some improvement as it was always cold and very limited..We ate at the restaurant for several lunches & dinner & it was very good! All in all we loved it, just needs a few improvements :)

Dear guests,

We sincerely thank you for praising our little boutique resort and the amenities our surroundings are offering. However, we deeply regret the disappointing experiences you encountered with the services of our staff. Sometimes it is overburdened to render adequate services to our esteemed guests as their capability of English is limited and occasionally misunderstandings might happen. We apologize for that and likewise we shall look into the matter to improve the quality as well as the quantity of our breakfast hoping that it will meet the expectations of our dear guests. Looking forward to welcoming you again at MY DREAM BOUTIQUE RESORT.

Beautiful resort, great breakfast buffet! We stayed with a group of 23 for a week and were helped immensely. Slightly removed from the heart of Luang Prabang tourist area which allows for better exploring experience. Rooms were great with balconies attached to all.

We stayed there for only 1 night. Amazing place, peaceful - great for relaxing. Very nice room with big balcony overlooking the pool and garden. The location is not very good as it's out of the city. We stayed for 3 nights in the center of LP which was much better, especially for night market. If you wan't to relax and stay in lovely place..My Dream is perfect. Highly recommended!

The main buildings, bungalows and gardens dropping down to the Nam Khan river are really beautiful and peaceful. Our bungalow was comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed.
The staff were efficient, friendly and thoughtful. Attempts at a few Laos words by ourselves were well received. The pool area looked nice but we never used it.
We made full use of the free bikes to visit the craft village about a mile up the road and to get to the city centre over the old bridge. The free shuttle bus service was also very useful.
A lovely place to stay on the last 3 days over our Viet Nam/Cambodia/Laos tour. Highly recommended
