Great owner, staff and a lo-key vibe. Newer building, nice breakfast...I could not have asked for a better stay. The owner/staff was always available to answer questions and assist in anyway. They even had airport pick-up. I highly recommend this guesthouse.

Room Tip: Use one of the many bikes that are available for free and explore the city.

This place is wonderful. The staff was helpful and friendly. The owner arrange for an airport pickup free of charge. its so clean and tidy and the WiFi is super fast. The shower was great, comfy beds and an AC. The location is on the other side of the river, but its only 7 minutes walk on the bamboo bridge. The only reason we left was the price. Its not expensive, but not for backpackers budget.

The owner (who is called Khamphone) provides pick up and drop off facilities from the Airport. The Guesthouse is clean and has bicycles for use. Breakfast is included (choice of eggs with large bread roll, fresh fruit and tea or coffee, with Juice). Mr Sa is particularly helpful and has good English. Guesthouse is just up the road from Dyen Sabai (fantastic restaurant run by a French/Canadian with river views and great food including Lao Tasting Platters and fondues).

One consideration is that you do need to cross a bamboo bridge to get into the main town (only costs £5000 KIP), otherwise it is a 15-20 minute walk into town via the Old Bridge.

Having only booked for one night, the Guesthouse was full for the other nights we wanted but Khamphone was able to direct us to friends just down the road and ensure we had accommodation.

Overall, an excellent Guesthouse with helpful staff and owner - certainly recommended.

We stayed for 6 nights here, and we were very happy with our choice, especially given the price. The owner was exceptionally helpful and our room was made up daily with fresh bottles of water replaced every day. We particularly liked the location - the guesthouse is very close to the bamboo bridge which takes you to the centre of town. It's only 50c AU per crossing and it's a really pleasant way to start and end your day...particularly since the centre of town is filled with Westerners..you feel more like you're having a more authentic experience. The only drawback was that our room could sometimes feel a little damp, bit opening the windows to let the sun in really helped.

I enjoyed my stay with my brother.
Friendly, courteous management and staff. Free use of bicycles, wifi (slow in Laos), breakfast, transfer to and from airport.
It was cold in the morning and evenings but light duvets and blankets were available. Beds and room were comfortable (apart from the high pillow and cold)
Breakfast is in the middle terrace outdoors. Great pizza place nearby!
I would suggest some variety for a healthier breakfast, eg different bread, natural juice etc

Room Tip: In the cold season the warmer rooms are in the middle, I didnt visit the higher floor rooms

Great value for money, beautiful French colonial style house run by local family. Included-.complimentary breakfasts, free pick up drop off to the airport, free wifi(good signal),free bikes to use, free tv with good arial reception.Friendly helpful staff. Room clean and cleaned every day. We stayed in a few places around Luang Prabang and this one was the best value for the price you pay in my opinion. Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 9 good wifi signal there & good television reception, also only one neighbor...
