Wat is mean ( Temple) So Since I became a little Buddhist Novice in 2002 and stay my village Temple until 2003 I decide to move to Luang Prabang. because of my lucky i got a chance from Monk Khamchan who was lead the Temple. Because of that i got learn about Buddhism and another.
The beautiful monastery was where i sat and pray everydays 4 AM in the morning and 5/30 PM
So my respective Wat ( Temple) Sensoukaram is always in my heart.
I hope if you come to Luang Prabang you would like to visit and see how beautiful it is and faithful in Buddhism respective.

The outside of the Temple was painted dark red with golden figures and shapes. Inside there is a huge Statue of Standing Buddah.

A location that is home to many novice monks who are enthusiastic to speak English with the visitors has a wooden structure under a giant bougainvillea creeper. The image house holds a standing statue of Buddha painted in Gold.

This wat was next on our tour after the Royal Palace Museum.
It was particularly interesting watching the novice monks in the grounds building their boats and making decorations for the Festival of Lights being held the following day.

Pleasant Wat, obligatory gold paint and ornate decoration. Not far from Wat Xieng Thong as well. Worth a visit if that's wat you're into!
