Impressive and confronting. They sell t shirts and books reasonably to support the project.
I did not dislike the organization just the reason for their existence.

A heavy reminder of the toll of war. Inspirational to see how locals have organized with some outside help to make things better little by little. May also leave you wondering what more cannot be done by countries like the US to help make things right.

The walk to UXO takes you through the neighborhoods and away from the tourist area, which is a bonus in itself. Find some street food for breakfast. Although it's a little dim inside, the information boards are wonderful and in English. Sobering.Nice bathroom.

This display is in one fairly small room, but the details, history, and emotions contained within it are incredibly moving. Easy to cycle to - will only take up 30 or 40 minutes of your time, but highly recommended.

UXO is a organisation which is trying to destroy all the mines and bombs (from the Vietbam war) in Laos. The exhibition might be small, but it's really informative and touching. especially dome stories that read.
There was a fire in their building last month. It's still open and free of charge. You can give a donation so they can proceed with their operations.
