3 of us stayed here for 4 nights and we enjoyed our stay. The owner and his (gorgeous!!) wife were very helpful and made us feel very welcome in their guesthouse. The location is great, being only a short walk to the main street and also very close to where you can see the Buddhist monks doing their alm walk in the mornings. We stayed in what I was told during the booking process was a '2 bedroom suite', however it was actually 1 room with 2 beds. It was a comfortable room with extremely good air-conditioning, however after 3 weeks of travelling, we were looking forward to having the 2 separate bedrooms (as we were 1 couple and 1 single person travelling together). This may have been the error of the booking website we used. Another reviewer mentioned the separate shower in the bathroom. We did not have this, but I know the owners are in the process of updating all the bathrooms in each room. The bathroom we did have was still very acceptable.
After staying in other places for 3 weeks prior, we were used to having our rooms made up each day (unless we hung our signs up on the door knob stating otherwise), but I'm not sure they offer this service at the guesthouse, as our room was not made up once in the 4 nights we stayed here. I did ask reception to do this for us on day 2 but maybe my message was not received properly as the room was still not made up. Maybe they do not make up rooms without the guests asking specifically, however if this is the case, then maybe guests should be advised of this at check-in :)
Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse and the staff were very helpful assisting us in booking a day tour, doing our laundry and driving us to the airport on our last day (at a cost).
I recommend staying at this guesthouse!
