We chose to do this as part of a trek (3-4 hours) through the jungle and really appreciated the trip (seeing a variety of ethnic villages, spirit gates, etc). The waterfall is excellent, though busy. There are several choices of pools in which to swim. they are cold, but refreshing, although the nibbling fish can be a bit disconcerting. Do not miss a visit to the Bear sanctuary right next to it.
