It lulls you in with a false sense of niceness. The reception area is nice with leather sofas and stone floors. The rest of the building is another story unfortunately. The rooms are big but that is probably the only positive thing.
The bed is hard, The room is noisy - Thursday and Friday nights are particularly bad as wedding parties occupy the second floor and this resonates throughout the hotel. The dividing doors between rooms do not isolate the noise from adjacent rooms. The wifi is slow and patchy. The furniture looks like it has been acquired from a garage sale. The breakfast is disappointing. The staff are uninterested with fixing problems with rooms or the wifi. They insist you cannot move rooms as the hotel is full but you only see a few people milling around. There is a kettle in the room but no tea and coffee supplied. There is little space to put a car.
The dinner buffet is reasonable and reasonably priced and the mini-bar is well stocked with drinks and also fairly priced.
