“Excellent location”

This hotel is located just 5 minutes away from Imam Square, best location possible in Esfahan.
The area around the hotel has a lot to offer too, and you can easily get anywhere in town from here.
The hotel in itself is quite clean, nothing luxurious but very decent. Please try the food at the hotel, it is delicious! Also important to mention that the staff have provided an excellent service, especially Farshad who was extraordinary, making this trip even more special.

Don't think you could get a more convenient location in Esfahan, a 5 minute walk from the magnificent Imam Square. Also convenient for many food establishments, and money exchange bureaus, and very central for any shopping trips, an excellent spot to be based during a trip to Esfahan. The room itself was more than adequate, although quite small, with no English speaking television channel, there was Wi-Fi available in the room. Very helpful English speaking staff on reception, and an excellent buffet selection for breakfast.

After a rather disappointing stay in Abbasi hotel, we were reluctatnt to return there when going to Esfahan. Friends recommended Setaeeeh, and we were very pleased. The service - from reception to the waiters in the breakfast room - are very nice and efficient, more so than in any other hotel we've stayed so far in Iran. The room is decent although maintenance (e.g. Of the Bathroom) is not great. Location is fantastic though! Very good price-quality ratio!

Room Tip: We are a family of 4 and stayed in the suite, which comes with a kitchenette.

I heard good things about this hotel from two of my tour guides before I stayed. I think it is more of a 2.5 star hotel than a 3 or 4 star. The rooms are clean, but there is barely any natural light in the rooms. The hallways look like they are straight out of a motel from the 60s. Rooms are spacious and clean, but need upgrading. The bed sheets were so thin that I was afraid I would rip them just from sleeping on them.

Staff are very nice, helpful, and polite....unlike the staff at Abbasi hotel who are probably the most rude people in all of Iran. The staff at Setareh helped me with directions and restaurant recommendations. The location is perfect, within a 10 minute walk to the Naqsh-e-Jahan square and close to many shops.

I still think it is better than most hotels in Esfahan from what I've heard. The restaurant on site has some of the best food in the city.

I've been slept in this hotel several times since it's been opened. The number one positive factor about it is its management. You feel it everywhere as small corners of the hotel are well taken care of.

The rooms are cozy and nice. the service is very good. The Breakfast is more than what you think. The location is 5-minutes walk from the heart of Esfahan - Imam Square and Bazaar.

Room Tip: In Summer, make sure you eat in its roof-top restaurant with a view of the famous illuminated domes...

I have been using Setareh Hotel for more than two months, since I have been assigned a work affair in Isfahan and I stay in Isfahan 3 to 4 days a week regularly.

This is a 3 stars hotel in Iran, and compared to other 3 stars hotels, it is perfect!

Pros:
- Clean, spacious, good air conditioned and comfortable rooms
- Very friendly staff
- Great Breakfast
- Good traditional restaurant
- Good free WiFi internet both in lobby and rooms (except a few rooms at the corner sides of the hall with weak WiFi connection, which you can tell the staff on your arrival not to give them to you!)
- TV with local channels and a few satellite channels like BBC, MBC3 and Dubai Sport.
- Good location, 7 min walk to Naghshe Jahan Square
- And finally it is not expensive at all regrading many 4 and 5 stars hotels in Isfahan.

Cons
- The rooms look rather old with average decoration.
- The hotel taxi needs more cars. Sometimes you have to wait for more than 15 min to have a taxi.

In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel, if you want to have a rather cheap and good hotel in Isfahan.

Room Tip: Check for the WiFi strength of the room with reception, before you choose one.

Some guidebooks call this place depressing but I certainly didn't get that impression. It's comfortable and cosy (and warm which was especially important as we visited during a chilly February week) and the staff are friendly. It's in a great location just a few minutes walk from the Naqsh-e Jahan Square (and even closer to a great little place to buy the dessert fereni). Breakfast was tasty and there was a good selection of dishes on offer.
