The square is absolutely amazing, and there are the mosques and palaces to visit around. You can visit the bazaars beside.

It is one of the Unesco's World Heritage Sites and the biggest square in Iran. It's surrounded by 3 stunning monuments (Ali Qapu, Imam and Sheikh Lotfolah Mosques). You can use coaches to visit all around the Naghshe-e-Jahan square. There is a long bazaar around it where you can buy many beautiful and precious handicrafts as souvenirs and also traditional sweet pastry of Esfahan that it is called GAZ.

What a great experience, the whole square is a living museum, when I visited it was early May and not really hot, and in fact was really nice and pleasant.

Once it cools down in the evening, everyone comes out to the square. You can shop in the bazaar, have a picnic on the green, go to a restaurant, etc.

Worth two visits: one for the evening as described and one during the daytime for the attractions (mosques and palace)
