While in Isfahan, my favorite part of the day was shopping in Naqsh E Jahan. I loved all of the traditional Iranian handicrafts. Especially the Qalamkar (Hand stamped table cloths) I have made curtains and reupholstered an antique sofoa with them. They are BEAUTIFUL! There is so much for everyone at the markets. From antique lanterns, handwoven Persian rugs to glazed vases, clothes, inlaid marquetry boxes to antique jewelry. One can easily spend the whole day here. When one needs a break from shopping, there are plenty of architectural jems to admire. From Ali Qapu Pavilion, to Sheik lotfollah Mosque, to Imam Mosque. It remains the most beautiful place I've ever been!
