If you want to be waken up one hour to early (0450!), have the laundry from somebody else delivered, the laundry service investigating your room whilst you just come out of a shower to find a "bag of panties" that they've lost somehow, if you want to have an executive lounge where everyone can go in beach outfit (forget about quietness and calm) and where the glass cover of the tables are protecting the rests of a week of breakfast (really filthy !!!) just go there ..... And for sure don't expect someone to apologize. So good hardware that suffers from its management ??

We stayed in Dubai for 5 nights in early march and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff are fantastic and helpful, food is great, pools and beach are clean and tidy. We had a executive sea view room which was well worth the extra money. The free bar is great for pre diner drinks!!

Stayed here in early March for 3 nights having looked at at other hotels, I choose this one due its locality and amenities within the area.

Having stayed at various DXB hotels, this one has to be one of the very best, not for the grandeur, rooms, pools, restaurants etc (which are all great) but for the pure genuine service that me and my wife received throughout our stay. Amazing considering the hotel was at 100% capacity due to the Dubai Boat Show.

We had a truly personal service from most of the team (in particular tall Dutch lady and Karim, on the front desk), who displayed great personal service towards their guests, exactly what a hotel needs to show.

The room's were clean, free wi-fi, good amenities included, good mini bar choice and a great bed!

The day rooms that are provided for guests who have checked out and waiting for a few hours before their flight are very good and are best I have seen in any DXB hotel.

Overall the hotel is perfect, not over the top and not too 3 star. The pool area, beach, beach bar's are good with fantastic views of the palm and JBR. Not crowded and noisy.

Outside the hotel are roadworks which cause traffic jams, particularly on Thursday/Friday evenings. Draw back to this is not the noise (there wasn't any) but the extra wait for taxis. Walk out of the hotel across the road and hail one, which will cut the waiting time by 15 minutes.

Hotel is perfectly located for JBR The Walk and Dubai Marina. Dubai Mall, airport, etc about 40 minutes away.

Note for the management - Minus points for having to see the same empty glasses/used room service trays outside of guests rooms for three consecutive days, a pure let down for guest who have an eye for attention to detail ;)

I will return to the hotel in the future as it ticked all the boxes. Keep up the great wok!

Room Tip: Choose a room with the sea view!

This property is absolutely a gem:
The location, the rooms, the food, the service, everything is the best.
The only downside was that the hotel does not award SPG points when we stayed. Maybe they have changed the policy since. Otherwise, it's a great hotel to go for business and pleasure.
Highly recommended!

Room Tip: Try to get a room with the ocean view. Definitely worthwhile.

We stayed in Westin for a few nights upon our arrival from USA. We overall liked the hotel as it allows guest to mix city trip (Dubai about 15 minutes with taxi away) with the feeling of a lazy holiday.
We booked an executive room with sea view. This includes free WIFI and shuttle to/from airport which we enjoyed after our 14 hour flight. We also had breakfast included. A bit of a drawback is executive breakfast only starts at 7am. This was a bit of an issue on check out day for us as we had early flight to catch. But the hotel allowed us to have breakfast before opening time in the main restaurant which was really appreciated!
The pools are just great, it never feels crowded, temperature was great en the lap pool was for me a big plus. While I was counting the laps my wife enjoyed the fitness of next door Meriden (seems better gym than Westin).
The most easy way to get to Dubai is via taxi, about the only thing in Dubai which is cheap. You can take the metro system but it is about 15 walk from the hotel and currently a lot of road construction in the area.
A special Plus for the Dutch lady at the concierge. She went out of her way to respond to our questions and book our desert safari. I wished all hotels had such a great concierge service.
If I return to Dubai I would stay in this hotel again.

Room Tip: Take Sea view room. Although more expensive it is worth the cost. The street view is in my view pr...

Lovely hotel and beach.
Lovely staff who are very friendly and keen to help. They made our wedding anniversary very special
Very clean rooms.
The Sunday brunch was very good with lots of options. We had the non alcoholic option and the staff were very keen to make this fun too with mock tails!
Can't complain!

This is my 6th trip to Dubai and the only hotel I've stayed in twice.
VALUE - the hotel represents excellent value for money especially if you can be a little flexible with dates. As all the rooms are generally the same there is a good saving to be had if you book a city view room. A sea view room is great but nothing to see at night and you're out of the room all day so not imperative.
ROOMS - they're great! Very large and well appointed with super comfortable beds and very soft sheets. Large flat screen TV's with ample room for the desk and arm chair & "poofer." separate loo & shower - huge bath tub. Theres also a Netspresso machine!! The criticisms are no electric points by the bed which is a pet hate re mobile phone and the cupboard space is a bit small.
HOTEL - my favourite thing about the hotel is that it's long and low rise, there's a huge and spectacular atrium massive gardens, lots of pools & restaurants and a very wide beach. The executive club is a great aminity with 3 different free meals a day (breakfast - tea - cocktails happy hour).
SERVICE - generally the service was excellent - everybody seemed to try their hardest with a smile however the beach service was sadly lacking. You really had to search for help / menu / drinks / towels.
FOOD - the food is excellent and varied. The breakfast is huge including Indian, Chinese, Arabic specialities, an omelette bar, fruit & vegetable smoothies and even jelly beans! In addition there's various other restaurants including a great al fresco pizzeria. The Friday brunch is quite rightly legendary and was voted number 1 in Dubai by time out.
GENERALLY - loved it an look forward to returning ASAP.

Room Tip: Ask for an open balcony not an enclosed balcony
