As I part of my trip to Dubai I stayed four nights at the Atlantis The Palm. I think there is only a word for this hotel: amazing!!! The hotel is on the Palm of Dubai, at the top. It is a huge building! The only negative thing is that for visit Dubai this hotel is a little bit far away but taxis in Dubai are very cheap so you can reach very mall or attraction with a small amount. In the lobby there is an amazing sculpture of class, really nice. The staff in the hotel is very efficient and everyone will say hello to you (very friendly staff also in the restaurants!).Once you arrive they will give you a card to get access to all the area of the resort, in fact the people coming visit the hotel could not go in all the areas (nice in my opinion). We had an Atlantis room overlooking the palm (the very friendly receptions asked us what we preferred), the room size is ok but there are some drawbacks not acceptable for 5 stars hotel: no shoe cleaner, bath towel ruined, furniture that looks already old. On the other side the room had an excellent view and also the bathroom was very good. There are several restaurant in the hotels: some fashion and expensive (we tried Nobu and the experience was simply amazing!) and other with buffet choice. Be aware, especially for the singles or couples, that as this is a sea resort there are a lot of families. The Royal pool is amazing but the main attraction is the Acquadventure Park that is free for hotel guest: I stayed there 2 full days! The best water park I ever been in my life. Also do not forget to pay a visit to the lost chambers, really nice! Overall a pleasant stay at the Atlantis even if in my opinion 5 stars are too much for the room quality but for what the hotel offers is could be considered a 6 stars!

Lovely hotel with lots to do never left for a whole wk!. Recommend staying half board had selection of several restaurants in the evening from buffet style to Al a Carte, but would recommend both buffet style rest's selection of food fantastic and all freshly made. Tip - if staying half board coupons can be used for lunch instead of evening meal tried this and had lunch in Nasimi rest fantastic food and very relaxing.
Drinks are expensive in hotel pint of beer around 8 pounds it's Dubia and 5 star location. If you want cheap go to turkey or Spain
Only way you'll find what the place is like is to stay there.
All in all no complaints great holiday and would go backTo dubia but sample another hotel in madinat.

We booked the imperial club level. Worth every penny.
-very nice and quiet breakfast (you are allowed to have breakfast also downstairs in the main restaurants)
-very nice and quiet "happy hour". Drinks (premium brands) and food for free.
-very nice staff (they'll book tours, restaurants, etc.)

The rooms are ok, bathrooms are nice (after some days we did not get any toiletries anymore, I wrote the cleaners a note and after that never had any more complains). The brand is Floris and our son is called Floris, so it was a gift every day (we took a lot home:-)

The Wing is quiet (beach parties are not hold at this end)

Restaurants, pool area, dolphin area are awesome!

TIP:
Imperial club has its own check in, use it.
With your frequent flyer card from Emirates you'll get discount (you have to mention every time u order. We didn't so they had to correct the total bill (order by order) when we checked out). Very nice they did do!!!!
Dubai outlet mall (45 minutes by taxi). Great stuff, good prices!

Train around the property convenient.

Taxi’s plenty!

It's difficult to be negative about Atlantis (but I'm going to be a little !!).
The Hotel is seriously impressive. No expense has been spared in it's decor and facilities. The service is excellent and the rooms are large and clean. There are a number of restaurants to choose from and the pools and water park are amazing.
My only problem (and it is MY problem) is that it is too big and I found it difficult and slightly embarrassing to enjoy so much opulence when it is basically provided by an army of underpaid and overworked immigrant labour.

My partner had previously visted the Atlantis in 2010, so I was sort of aware of the hotel. The reception you recieve is warm but not unique however all staff do say hello which does add a nice touch to the feel. The overall style of the hotel public area's are clean and practical. We did notice that the vast glass fountain was not working, which was a shame. The bars and restaurants where all comfortable with the Laventine terrace being particularly comfortable and hospitable! The room was clean, with an awe inspiring view of the cityscape! The pool and surrounding area's where quite suitable and I throughly recommend the waterpark with the 'Leap of Faith' being brillant! However the price of food and drink was frankly shocking! I know that alcohol is prohibited in Dubai but I feel £8 for a pint of Tiger is disgusting! The food (bar Leventine) was nowhere near worth the money - if you do wish to eat in house then I would recommend half board.

Room Tip: Ask for the west tower with a city view

We spent the first 3 days of our honeymoon at the Atlantis before moving on our favourite beach and spa resport an hour away in Ras al Khaimah.

They were instructed it was our honeymoon so we were so say given an upgrade on check in. Our room was on the 7th and sea facing but for the money we paid i would say it was pretty standard. We have stayed in nicer room for much less in Dubai.

The Lobby and public areas are quite amazing. We visited the waterpark and lost chambers which were fab but had i of paid as a day visitor i would of been disappointed.

The restaurants are FANTASTIC, we had breakfast at Saffron and Kaleidoscope, all you can eat and an amazing choice. We used our half board vouchers for lunch at Rostang. We assumed as it was included in our package the menu would be restricted but there was a great menu and it included 3 courses. Could not fault the food or the services. We also had a great lunch at Ronda Locatelli.

We ate and paid extra for Dinner at Seafire (Steakhouse) and NOBU. The highest quality of food. Made our stay.

All staff are amazingly helpful and can not do enough.

The pool and beach areas are clean and lovely. However they all over look the highrise view of Dubai city and for me that ruined it. If u look out to sea i like to sea the horizon not aload of buildings.

Would go back for a meal but feel its overrated as a hotel

The hotel looks majestic from the outside but I would not rate it as a sophisticated experience though the price indicates that.Very good for families with children and teenagers,ITS MORE LIKE A THEME PARK STYLE .Very crowded restaurants at breakfast time.
