Good rooms, good location, next to metro, next to restaurants and a supermarket. Problem with elevators, pool was in different building (had to walk on the street), price is high compared to other newer and better hotels.
- Free Wifi
- Free Parking
I used the hotel for a few days attending the telecom trade show. The location is great, 5 minutes walk to the trade show, 5 minutes to the metro. The room was as a flat (you could live year around there) whit kitchen, living-room (large), two large bedroom with separate bathrooms. Easy to stay when you have space. A tip to travelers; if you plan to eat nearby the hotel, walk over to the other side of the street. You will find a lot of good restaurants and many of them from American chains. I went to a Tony Romans. It was like walking in to America while I were there.
they have great location at sheikh zayed road near to metro but the building is quite old, quite handy to go to trade show only 5 minutes walk ,they have nice leisure club behind the building i think the best part of the hotel
I stayed in this hotel from 9th to 14 june, its old building, but at a great location, metro station is just at a walkable distance, In one of his building [Block A] internet is available only in lobby, so be aware while booking, since block B has a internet connection in room
If you have an exhibiton at the World Trade Centre, you can not beat these apartments , especially if two or more are attending. Reception is very nice, all marble, staff pleasant. Hallways upstairs very dated in artex !! Apartments huge but as a previous review said very dated circa 1970's but our apartment was very clean and was cleaned every day with the beds made and clean towels. Lounge and dining room is very spacious, kitchen huge but very outdated units but does have a fridge/freezer, oven, microwave. There is also a utility room with a washing maching and iron/ ironing board. 2 bathrooms in both 2 and 3 bed apartments, large, clean but orange, brown of green 70's tones with bidet - really dated. BUT again all clean so no complaints. Its not mega expensive , moreso in expo times but nothing like some of the other hotels closeby. The apartments have a nice pool, gym and tennis courts. Even a big climbing wall. "the club" does room service meals incl burgers, salads, noodles etc and even deliverys wine and beer (not cheap but nice to get in Dubai rather than having to go out to a resaurant). BUT the best thing of all is standing on your balcony 10 minutes after you have finished at the exhibition centre with a glass of wine watching everyone queuing for hours to get a taxi back to their hotels - now that is worth any amount of money in my eyes, dated apartments or not :-)
We were staying with a group of friends for 9 days in Dubai. This hotel was selected for us by others, as we needed space to accommodate 3 couples. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was nice and clean, but nothing special. The decor was quite old and there was a bit of a musty smell. The apartment had a full sized kitchen, but the cooking facilities were really limited. The beds were comfy and shower was good, and there was a lot of space to move around. Everything just seemed really old and in desperate need of renovation. The location was good for the trade centre and was right next to the train which was handy. It's not close to any real attractions, but it is halfway between the old city and the tacky touristy areas. Catching a taxi sometimes took a while, depending on whether there were a lot of potential fares in the area at the time. The bar by the pool was a nice place to relax (but pretty expensive).
